  • Gold Players stay in Golden Team UMMC Ekaterinburg.

Nolan, Bird, Parker, Taurasi, Arteshina, Popova, Petrakova.

    New Player is Belgium's Wauters.

  • The departure of Quanitra Hollingsworth and arrival of Ann Wauters is the only change in UMMC’s composition for the next season, team’s manager Maxim Ryabkov has confirmed.

That means that besides Anete Jekabsone-Zogota, Sandrine Gruda, who announced their re-signings earlier, and Maria Stepanova, Silvia Dominguez, who were still under contract, also returning to the team are Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Deanna Nolan, Ewelina Kobryn, Tatiana Popova, Anna Petrakova and Olga Arteshina.

Ekaterinburg last season won every title they could, triumphing in Russian Cup, EuroLeague Women and Russian League. During the season UMMC suffered three defeats – one to Perfumerias Avenida in EuroLeague and two to Sparta&K Vidnoje in Russian Premiere League.

Candace Parker led UMMC in scoring and rebounding last season with 16.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in ELW. Taurasi averaged 15.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, Gruda – 14.1 points and 5.4 rebounds. Everyone else on the team contributed to an unrivaled depth, that allowed them to comfortably win 5 games in seven days in ELW Final Eight.
