Hello everybody I prepare my travel for Lituania for the first round (31 august to 7th september)
I hope to see
Of course, Lituanian N.T games are sold out wor awhile
I saw "Starvidas" (Tsar ?) Sabonis in... 1985 when he was 18 yeras old and in a great shape !
It was the european championship in Germany vs France.
Even that I'am french, I was crying "Lietuva, Lietuva" in the crowdI think I will write about the games, the feelings and my metings during this event
Basketball is really the second Religion in Lituania !!!
In 1986, the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) with Dominique Wilkins made a trip for some games.
After one in Moscow, they came to Kaunas, one of the biggest city.
They had nearly 2 millions demands for a ticket and there was 3,4 millions people in LituaniaJust AMAZING
Take care -

Very strong roster indeed
By the way, I see Naz' boyfriend is in the roster

this time i really hope for a medal especially gold, can we do that? i think so, olympics wait for turkey
-
Spain Roster
Ricky Rubio
Victor Sada
Juan Carlos Navarro
Rudy Fernandez
Pau Gasol
Serge Ibaka
Marc Gasol
This roster seems much stronger than Turkey. Turkey has a new young coach Orhun Ene and i don't trust him much. His selections for NT are nonsense. Cenk Akyol, İzzet Türkyılmaz, Sertaç Şanlı, Ender Arslan they didn't even play in their clubs this season. Most of them played with 10 min average. And also it has never been seen that Turkish NT had a success in a tournament which is held in another country. So i don't expect a medal. I hope but teams are really strong also France has Tony Parker, Joakim Noah in roster.I'm so excited there will be great matches. My teams are Turkey and Lithuania (Sarunas Jasikevicius )

Yes, he is good. He has just signed with Caja Laboral in Spain. But he won't play in EuroBasket due to some private reasons
