Fenerbahce Ulker did not succeed in winning the Gomelsky Cup in Moscow. Hosts CSKA Moscow beat the Istanbul team 73-57.

Fenerbahce reached the title game by narrowly defeating Panatinaikos, 88-85. Ulkers Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 in a game that had a superior Fenerbahce leading 47-38 at halftime. Panatinaikos made a strong come back in the third period and equalized with less than a minute on the clock in the fourth. A three point score by Curtis Jerrell secured a spot in the title game for Fener.

In that title game CSKA overpowered Fenerbahce. The Russians had a comfortable 40-29 lead at halftime, and stayed in control in the second half. Darjus Lavrinovic scored 11 points for Ulker, but that wasnt enough by far to beat the Moscow hosts, who conquered the cup with a clear 73-57 victory.
