  • I don't get it why ISU is organising World Championships in Figure Skating in the same year as Olympiuc Games. Many atheletes have already withdrew: Daisuke Takahashi, Patrick Chan or Meryl Davis and Charlie White. I suppose that many others also won't take part in it

World Chamiponships are every year ^^

  • Sensational Leader after Men's Short Program during WCH.

Tatsuki Machida from Japan beat Javier Fernandez and Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu.

  • What a comeback by Mao Asada after Olympics. After 4 years She broke Yuna Kim's World Record in Short Program from 78.50 to 78.66 ! Behind Her are Karolina Costner with amazing 77 and Julia Lipnitskaya 74.

In such form Asada will break whole Kim's Records.

Costner is as wine- the older the better.

  • Olympic Champion Yuzuru Hanyu won World Champion Title after very very emotional fight with 282.59. Tatsuki Machida got Silver with 282.26. Bronze for Javier Fernandez.

  • Mao Asada won World Champion Title. This time without World Record in Long Program 138/150, overall 216/228. Silver went to Julia Lipnitskaya with 207, Bronze for Carolina Costner 203.

  • Mao was amazing indeed! But even with so many mistakes in free programme Carolina was still my fav. All time fav  Glad to see her taking the bronze in the end. I'd say I breathed a sigh of relief... ;) The programme to "Bolero" music is so beautiful! Commentators kept saying she's ending her career... Can't be ;(
