Here are some basic information about the tournament. I hope I can find enough time for updates everyday. If anyone interested in snooker, we may have a word about players or matches in the future.

  • Sad to see Alan McManus lost in qualifying after his historic semifinal run last year.

Maguire VS McGill first round match. McGill beat him in 2015 and Maguire always seems to underperform at the WCH, but there is less pressure on him this year so he may play better.

Top half of the draw looks tougher to me: Selby, Robertson, Murphy, Fu, O'Sullivan and Ding are all possible winners. Trump will be a big favourite in his half.

  • The McGill-Maguire match was not so interesting as I thought

I am busy and have not been able to watch very much so far, but it looks like Fu-Brecel was a thriller!

Most centuries so far have been hit by Murphy, Ding and Carrington with 3 but Ding and Carrington have not finished their matches yet

    Highest breaks so far:
    Ding Junhui 136
    Ding Junhui 132
    John Higgins 127
    Stuart Carrington/Ronnie O'Sullivan 124
    Stuart Binghma/Ronnie O'Sullivan 122
