    Here are the results of the 75th plebiscite for the best Polish sportsman ("Przegląd Sportowy" and TVP are organizers)

    In Brazil the Olympic Commited gives an award for Best Athlete in each sport, and also a Best Male Athlete and Best female athlete of the year


    In 2009, the Best Male Athlete was Cesar Cielo (swimming) and Best Female Athlete was Sarah Menezer (Judo)
