• Fascinating, arty documentary about and by Daniel Lanois, the yang to Brian Eno's Yin. He was the musicality in Eno's ambient experiments. He's produced the best stuff from a variety of artists from U2's Joshua Tree to Emmylou Harris's Wrecking Ball. Peter Gabriel's So to Neville Bros Yellow Moon.

As with many genius types he can be as off-putting as awe-inspiring, possessing a gentle arrogance.

    Quote

"I walk into a room and assess what I have access to: Mostly people-wise, but also the room itself. Then I maximize the room"

  • I've been feeling really well lately, weather is nice etc.

So... I just wanted to dedicate this song a friend showed me to all my forum haters.

  • One of my all-time favourite Japanese artist... 🥁🥁🥁

  • Devil Inside and Can you keep a secret are really good

  • Hikki fan here too! ULTRA BLUE would have to be my favorite album from her. Some of my favorite songs: Sakura Nagashi, Can You Keep A Secret, Sakura Drops, Be My Last, and Colors. :)

  • Sharing this bop. The lyrics is uplifting(well maybe except for the Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam part) and the music is happy.

    Lyrics:

Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
    Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam
With just 0.1 seconds of my breath, you can feel my deep truth
You and I are in the big universe that is expanding even now
    In this deep universe
So I’m not gonna try to force myself
Into a frame that others have made
Let me set up my courage to receive hate
Pain helps me grow even more
So again today, I’m blessing myself for doing a good job
I’m beautiful, sing it, yeah yeah yeah
All of my shouts in my life will soon be art art art
I’m wonderful, feel it, la la la la
We’ll blossom so big for all to see as we sing
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
    Beautiful
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Set me free, throw it all away
Let me be, just as I am
I awake, no one can control me
I’m my own master, my own master
What I wanna become isn’t number one
    But the only one
Each day is fierce, it isn’t getting stronger
    It’s getting stranger
Yeah, I shine more than anyone else
I get excited seeing myself like this
    That’s me, this me, listen
I’m raising a glass for myself
I’m beautiful, sing it, yeah yeah yeah
All of my shouts in my life will soon be art art art
I’m wonderful, feel it, la la la la
We’ll blossom so big for all to see as we sing
Everyone has a Milky Way in their hearts oh oh
When you overcome the darkness, you can shed tears
So you can become a bright star
I’m beautiful, sing it, yeah yeah yeah
All the things we do together become art art art
I’m wonderful, feel it, la la la la
We’ll blossom so big for all to see as we sing
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
    Beautiful
    We are alive and dreaming
The beautiful us, we are here
Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam bbambbabambbabam bbam
    Brrram bbabam bbabam bbambbam Beautiful

  • A friend recommended me this Kazakh song  it's really epic. I don't generally like historic stuff too much, but I felt this lol. It's a ''modern'' take on an ancient Turkic folk song, this song here is portraying the shaman ritual of speaking to spirits and past relatives from what I understood :super: I should convert.

I like this music a lot, and but the performance kicks it into a higher gear. I LOL'd a few times ... in a good way, I think
