    this team looks very poor i'm afraid that times where Cuba striked fear into opponents heart passed ;( now it's very average team,sadly.


    i just hope that new names are at least decent .

    stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
    you, that takes a lot of courage.

What a pity that Nancy Carrillo just retired at such a young age.I remember that I read somewhere in an official interview that she said she wanted to play in the next two Olympics.If Calderon could be back why not Carrillo and Ramirez? Do they have serious injuries or is it because some problems with Cuban federation or with the coaching staff?And where is Gyselle Silva, the young girl who surprised me with her powerful service plus shrill squeal? :what:

    too bad...these cubans arent that cuban!! They dont really jump very high except Santos who can reach 324cm.


    Im wondering if they can still gain their place among the strong teams.
