    The middle-blocker Natália (Praia Clube) will join the squad in order to play Montreux Masters. Bia (Sesi) refused the invitation due to personal reasons (tough season cause of injuries and family).

    Many people are saying Carol is a BALL of fire in Brazilian drills. Don't get surprised in case you see her taking the court while Fabiana and Thaísa are on a break.
    Montreux is going to be really nice to evaluate newbies.

    Fabiana Claudino was included in The World's 50 Most Marketable 2014 sport stars by SportsPro. The athletes have been ranked according to their marketing potential over a three-year period from this summer.
    Given the dimension of volleyball around the world, it's a remarkable thing to see a volleyball player beside Lewis Hamilton, Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Griffin III, Usain Bolt, Novak Djokovic and so forth.
    I'm doubtful about how much our National Olympic Committee wants to realize this potential but it's a stimulating fact if there's still there someone with good intentions. :whistling:

    Surprisingly or not, Juciely is also back to the NT.
    Angelica and Nati Martins (MBs) were cut after Montreux.

    In Zé's mind, Tandara is Sheilla backup but I think he should and probably will try her as OH at some point.
    Yes, Leia is unknown, but she is a very good libero! After the performance of Camila Brait in Montreux (which I thought was awful), maybe Leia can be a surprise in some matches...

    I can't believe this...this is really sad...we're so screwed.
    But all I have to do is to thank her for everything...what a player! Very special and very important for our NT in the past decade...

    Nooo! I was looking forward to see her in the NT this year, cos she had such a great season (unlike two previous ones, in my opinion). Shocking news, for sure.

    So the same thing that's going on with the male NT is bound to happen with the female NT.
    I'm terribly sorry to see her leave; she's one of my favorite players and it was always a pleasure to see her kill it in court with the NT. Brait better improve fast, because so far she has nothing on Fabi.

    I am very shocked as every Brazilian fan! I thought she was retiring after the Olympics, and then she decided to continue playing for Brazil... I am quite surprised because I expected to have Fabi playing for NT until 2016. This is really sad, mainly because of her history in the team. But anyway, I wish Fabi all the best in the clubs.


    About Brait: her performance this year wasn't so good as everyone expected from her. She had a "so so" season in Molico, because she had a lot of responsability on receiving (since Malagurski and Bosetti were just awful) and she was overloaded in the team. I think she's a good libero and she can improve her skills until the WCH.

    it's sad but what can you do, you cannot keep on playing forever same with fofao when she stopped going to nt in 2008, the road will be tough for sure but hey you made the choices ten you experience the consequences (positively negatively).

    I appreciated her as a player, she's one of the best liberos around...it is a sad news of course, but I wish her all the best!
