Brazil's Team 12-player roster was defined

    The 12 players that will play the Pan-American Games will be:

    03 - Marianne Steinbrecher - opposite - Scavolini Pesaro
    04 - Paula Pequeno - outside hitter - Finasa Osasco
    06 - Thaísa Menezes - middle-blocker - Rexona-Ades Rio de Janeiro
    07 - Hélia Souza - setter
    09 - Fabiana Claudino - middle-blocker - Rexona-Ades Rio de Janeiro
    10 - Welissa Gonzaga - outside hitter - Rexona-Ades Rio de Janeiro
    11 - Érika Coimbra - outside hitter - Brasil Telecom Brusque
    12 - Jaqueline Carvalho - outside hitter
    13 - Sheilla Castro - opposite - Scavolini Pesaro
    14 - Fabiana Alvim de Oliveira - libero - Rexona-Ades Rio de Janeiro

    This roster didn't surprise me at all. Carol Gattaz, Arlene and Renata didn't play well last Brazilian League. Besides, Fabíola is a newcomer and she had some healthy problems during the training period with the NT.


    I'd like to see Veridiana or Michelle taking Fabi's place as libero and I'm pretty sure that Natália will take Sassá's place after the U-20 World Championship.


    With these changes I think Brazil's Team will have its full power.
