Karpol's book is really very interesting, I got it some years ago from a Russian friend and read it many times. I think it's not available any more though

Brasilian coach Bernardinho has one called "Transformando suor em Ouro" ("Transforming Sweat into Gold") that is really good, but unfortunetly I think only have a portuguese version.

Not in the same league as the other people mentioned, but played volleyball at International Level and is still the only player to have played at Div 1 of the English NVL in every single position.

I live in Brasil , but I don´t know !!! I read is a great book , and the cool is had pictures of the games , just a little but is a great book , translations I don´t . Tries to find in some site.

This is not actually a biographie, but its a book about brazilian volleyball, so I imagine you might be intereseted.

Brazilian Volleyball Confederation released this year a special book telling about the recent history of Brazilian volleyball.

The name of the book is "Brazil - a volleyball nation", and has discriptions in obth portuguese and english
