  • Oh, looking at this thread, I reminded something. Remember Konstantin Cupković? I was wondering...why he's not in the squad for World League?
As far as I know, he has been awarded as the best volleball player from Serbia, right? So I'm curious, why he's not in the squad? I think he deserve it. He's young, very promissing player. I remember him from matches against Skra in Champions League, he was pretty good. Is he injured, or what? Serbian members, do u know something about it?

  • Would Starovic start at OPP now that Miljkovic will not be playing for NT? I would love him to be given the chance to be the main OPP.

I like watching Grbić resigns from playing in NT and he will soon return :D I hope that it's not the last such situation and Nikola will continue to play in NT.

So, Serbia still is a strong team, but when Ivan and Nikola return, their power grew. But it's dangerous to us, Poles.

I must however add, that Serbian receiver aren't convincing me their game. It's only their weak point.

  • Uros Kovacević and Aleksandar Atanasijević :win:  Good to see them in this squad ^^
Serbia is obviously always difficult team to play doesn't matter if they're playing with Ivan and Nikola. It'a always very tough opponent. Serbian recievers maybe don't show their best right now, but they're really good. I donnu if it was WL '09 or '08 (I guess '08, but I may be wrong) but Milos Nikić and Bojan Janić played brilliant. I like u guys, but I hope u won't play as good as u used to ;)

  • Nikola Grbic hasn't decided yet if he will play in WC. His wife is expecting their second child and he wants to be there for her. But he also has great wish to play in WC.He will make his decision on 3.august.

Yes, I just read about it. But I have a hunch that his desire to play on WC will win in spite of all.
I hope that with his wife everything will be ok, and he could play on WC.
