Aaaaand there they are
Polish NT 2014

Wide Roster (26 players):
Setters: Paweł Zagumny, Łukasz Żygadło, Fabian Drzyzga, Paweł Woicki
Opposites: Grzegorz Bociek, Mariusz Wlazły, Dawid Konarski, Zbigniew Bartman, Dominik Witczak
Outiside Hitters: Michał Kubiak, Michał Winiarski, Bartosz Kurek, Michał Ruciak, Mateusz Mika, Rafał Buszek, Wojciech Ferens
Middle Blockers: Piotr Nowakowski, Marcin Możdżonek, Karol Kłos, Łukasz Perłowski, Andrzej Wrona, Piotr Hain, Łukasz Wiśniewski
Liberos: Paweł Zatorski, Damian Wojtaszek, Krzysztof IgnaczakSo rumours about Wiśniewski, Ruciak and Ignaczak were just a bullshit roster is an optimum, maybe the only missing one is Daniel Pliński. Rest seems to be ok. The biggest surprise here for me is of course Mika.
We don't have all Lotos' inventions: Jakub Jarosz (OP), Krzysztof Wierzbowski (OH), Wojciech Żaliński (OH) and Maciej Zajder (MB), out of NT are also Grzegorz Kosok (MB), Patryk Czarnowski (MB) and Wojciech Włodarczyk (OH). Jakub Wachnik (OH) didn't get a chance like Michał Kaczyński (OP) and Maciej Dobrowolski (S).
1st NT camp from 5th May in Spała.

I'm very happy Igla and Zibi! And I hope Kubiak could be a starter this summer, it would be very deserved.
At the same time I feel so sad for Patryk Czarnowski.
And... Mariusz Wlazły is back!
The only one I don't like is Kurek among the big names. He showed nothing in Italy. Without Kovar Macerata would be playing Challenge Cup play-offs now.
Zygadlo is in the wild roster, I hope he can play in the summer. Fabian needs an expert setter to cover is bad moments.
Bociek and Konarski...
I still don't understand what Modzonek does in NT, while in the club he's always on bench...

Luca, Czarnowski played not much in JW, moreover he serves so weakly, Kłos looks now better than him. Żygadło is coming back to training so he can be ready for summer Fabian definitely lost confidence in setting because of stupid Kowal's movements and I think that Bociek still deserves for a chance, he has to gain experience, but he has nice parmetres, though he has still a hot head about Konarski I agree - now he's too weak, even good serves and single blocks won't change it Is Kurek so bad in Italy? I remember that earlier he had good spiking %, is it much worse now? I see that Kovar took his place as starter in Macerata

I watched many PlusLiga matches this season, I know Patryk Czarnowski played few of them, but he's still the MB which can changes matches for Polska. No one is close to his level, when he can find his best shape.
About Kurek, his biggest problem is that he's all about spiking. He can't pass or digg. He isn't a good blocker, or at least he's used very often by opponents, and his service wasn't really good during the season. Kovar took Parodi's place at first, because Simone had a hard season due to injuries, then he took Kurek's place. Trust me, the polish is pretty terrible in everything but the spikes. Without him Macerata plays much more better, with 2 all-around wing spikers. Kovar is finally playing like everyone expected; this is Jiri's first season without any injuries and he showed all his talent. When Macerata can pass well, Baranowicz looks like a little genius (he reminds me Uriarte somehow).
-
Kurek is a good blocker, there is consensus on that among specialists. I hear all the time "Kurek is better blocker than Kaziyski". About MB's the best spiker is still Nowakowski who was vital in World Cup 2011.

I breathed a sigh of relief... Finally! Really, I didn't even dare to imagine this roster could look better than this but, well... since I'm a Pole and we have to always pick holes in sth here we go - seriously, Mika? Would be much more paying off for the future taking Wachnik to train with the best Woicki? Nah. Can only clean Dobrowolski's shoes Joking ofc. No need to complain You know, I'm so relaxed and calm that now I can fool around and stuff
Igła is here, Zibi too, Wlazły is back (after 4 years, guys, 4!), Witczak got his chance, Ferens luckily in (though he doesn't play much in Zaksa). Bliss, joy, sweetness, heaven...

People, choose your own starting six.
-
This is the crazy team I would like to see at least once:
Fabian - Marius
Zibi - Michal Kubiak
Nowakowski - Wrona
Igla
Czarnowski in Wrona's place would be perfect.

On the CEV list for ECH qualification we don't have Bartman, Żygadło, Wiśniewski and Hain.

Apparently 3 of them are injured/not ready. But gotta feel sorry for Hain

Insane. Team without the best middle. -
Well, Wiśniewski will undergo a surgery, but I don't know what kind of treatment will he have.
-
Knee arthroscopy. I've just heard so.
-
Woicki, Witczak, Bartman and Hain from wide roster aren't registered for World League.

Maybe they changed something in WL roster, because on fivb website there's no Wojtaszek, while Woicki is
