That's surprising, to say the least. Duennes is changing teams like handkerchiefs. A former captain of Unterhaching and someone with history in Friedrichshafen, he can't just move to Berlin like this. Besides, if Carroll stays (Spirovski already confirmed), Duennes will most probably have to play in the middle. The scenario was similar last season in Friedrichshafen, he didn't get much play time. There must be some personal or other reasons for this move.

It is really unexpected. It is the first time Kubiak is associated with Halkbank but I don't think such an unrelated source will write Kubiak's name without any hint.
