2016 / 2017 Transfer News

  • Michael Andrei (GER, MB) from Ajaccio to swd powervolleys Düren.

Christian Dünnes (GER, Op) and Lukas Bauer (GER, MB) will remain another year at United Volleys Rhein/Main.

    Vital Heynen to VfB Friedrichshafen.

  • SESI-SP next season:

Bruno (S) and Lucão (MB) coming from Modena.
Theo (OPP), Murilo (OH), Douglas Souza (OH), Aracaju (MB) and Serginho (L) all stay. Source

Looks like a real contender imo. Nice to see Douglas and Aracaju both staying; although it was their first official season as starters, they were clearly among the best in their positions in the league. Gustavão (MB) and Riad (MB) will likely leave.

  • French clubs already started preparations for the next season

Nantes Reze Metropole announced 2 signings for the next season. From Chaumont is coming Slovak setter Martin Repak (in Nantes from 2009 to 2011) and Dutch NT MB Jasper Diefenbach from Montpellier. Dutch OH Floris Van Rekom extended his contract.

OH Luka Bašić (AS Cannes) signed for Toulouse as an replacement for Trevor Clevenot which is leaving club.

After many years in Sete Patrick Duflos is leaving club. New coach is his assistant Fabien Dugrip. Also Cannes got a new coach, Arnaud Jonsserand.

French NT MB Jonas Aguenier in Chaumont for 2 years. Argentinian libero Sebastien Closter signed new contract with same club (2 years). It's unofficial but seems likely that they signed with Javier Gonzalez (setter, Lyon)

As Heynen is leaving Tours (according to my source also Phillip Collin), Gianpaolo Medei (Beauvais) should take over French powerhouse. As I remember the last time Tours was coached by Italian they won Champions League

  • Konstantin Bakun, Nikolay Apalikov, Ian Iereshchenko, Alexey Kabeshov, Pavel Zaytsev and Anton Astashenkov are set to leave Gazprom Ugra Surgut.

Andrey Voronkov resigned from position of head coach in Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.

  • Minas Tênis Clube renewed with MBs Flávio and Pétrus and hired Thiago Gelinski (S). The team is also negotiating with Mão (OH), from Voleisul/Paquetá Esportes. Everaldo (S) may leave.

Montes Claros signed with three new players: Murilo Radke (S), Luan (OPP) and Robinho (MB). Bob Dvoranen (OH) renewed with the team.

    Funvic/Taubaté

  • Doesn't it say that Mão signed actually with MOC?

    Weird!

MDV has changed, I really cant understand that. :aww:

  • It's official: Wallace (OPP) and Éder (MB) left Sada Cruzeiro and joined Funvic/Taubaté. Wallace is leaving due to the ranking, as the team already has 3 other 7-point players (William, Leal and Isac). Source

Considering the latest rumors, Sada's new lineup will probably be William-Evandro, Leal-Filipe, Simon-Isac, Serginho.

  • Im surprised he decided to go play there instead of taking some time off before the World League.

Zaystev will rest during the World League, which will be usefull for young players in order to get a little bit of experience. I bet that Nelli will be in the line-up, or maybe Vettori even if, just like Zaystev, he should rest as well
