World record of continious game was broken.

    Students and teachers of The Higher sports school in German Gettingen held a new world record of continious play. It's now 60 hours (according to volleyservice.ru). Previous achievement of Australians was broken by 9 hours.
    24 people became the authors of the record. They were divided into 2 teams with 12 players. While 6 plyers from both sides were playing others were sleeping in locker rooms.
    During 60 hours they played 230 sets. The final score by sets is 133:97. This achievement will be registred in Guinness book of records.

    In 8th round of Greek championship a new world record for the duration of one set was held. In game between AEK(Athens) and PAOK(Saloniki) 2 set lasted for 57 minutes :shock: :lol: (with the final score 54:52).


    But what a pity, they couldn't break points world record, they just repeated world record. The same points record was held on January 13th in 2002 in Italy (Cuneo vs Sisley). This score was also in 2 set but the set lasted for 48 minutes.

    i remember some points between russia and china in the fifth set of athen games.


    there was also a point brazil cuba sidney /12 final.
