Does anyone know why I can't open the teams pages HERE?
They're opening just fine for me (I'm using google chrome). Maybe it's some flash-java-silver-whatever-light thing?

Savani with 76 points in 3 games, but his team lost anyway. I feel sorry for him and David Lee. Beijing was a better balanced team for sure.

David was a MONSTER today - his kills from the middle were amazing. It was so much fun to watch him play. The match was very exciting - in the 2nd set Shanghai was losing 2:10 and then 10:16, but thanks to Lee's attacks and Han's serve they've managed to turnaround the score to 22:20. Kang Kang put his team in front again (22:23) and then Savani (twice) and Lee (once) were saving one set point after another. Finally Han put the ball into the net and Beijing managed to win. 4th set was also very balanced, but with Beijing slightly at the lead. Shanghai made another come back from 16:20 to 20:20, but they just couldn't make it to the tie-break

When I think about the best MBs in the world, David Lee is one of the first players I think about. I don't know why he is so underrated.

Totally agree with you. He's one of the fastest players at the net. Hope to see him playing in Europe again.

Who said he is underrated? He IS one of the world's best! -

Few days ago I was talking with a friend of mine, he told David Lee never showed anything special. He wasn't the first person who told me this.

I also disagree with your friend(s). I guess they never appreciated what he did for team USA, Dinamo Moscow or Zenit Kazan. Americans can't always sign with the top teams in the world, the fact that he got recruited in China or previously in Qatar doesn't make him a worse player. I wonder what arguments they brought in.

Chengdu (Sichuan) is its base.
The team has been cannelled and becomes a part of Bayi (Army).I found Chinese Volleyball League A podiums HERE, but the translator doesn't work for the third placed team in the 1998-1999. Could you translate me?
