It is a very strange situation. But one thing is sure, it is definitely a mistake by KEPCO. I am also sure that it was their shirt's design/model last season(they wore a sleeveless shirt last season). This is the time when I wish I could understand what they're saying.

Something about this decision and the situation in general bothered me, I don't know why. The protest came due to the setter's shirt indeed but not because of the model or the color, but because of the "missing" sleeves. It happens (to add, not rarely at all) in volleyball when a player rolls up his sleeves and yet he appears as if he wears a different "model" of a jersey. True, there is nothing preventing him from doing so, but I am not sure where the rules' boundaries lie when defining outfits. As far as I remember (haven't looked it up), the rules say that each player should have the same outfit. Technically, the Korean setter may be causing a violation indeed and yet the referees didn't report it before the game started. I simply cannot believe that all officials missed it. I would think they were OK with the situation. Besides, then the club might protest that the refs didn't fulfill their duties. It's a very unusual situation. I know a coach would do anything to win, even complain about something like this, but maybe there is a certain sportsmanship boundary you have to keep as opponents. I honestly don't know how to feel about the other coach's protest.
Also, why was the score reverted to 14-1? I remember a situation during the ECH 2001 (I think it was the semifinal between the hosts Czech Rep. and Italy, I am not 100% sure) when there was a rotation error on the field, so all points rallied till that moment in the set were given to the complaining team. I think the score was 4-6 or 6-4, yet it became 0-10 and the set, and the match respectively, was gone. I cannot understand how it became 14-1 from 14-12. This is a very strange situation.

They kept bringing up a uniform violations (not knowing Korean, but looking like they really dug into the rule book #49). So at 14-12, the violation was brought into question, either by an official or match observer, etc. Well if the player was in violation when entering the court, KEPCO's points should not have counted at all, hence them losing all of their points after 4-1. So essentially they killed 25 minutes making the correction. Fans paid to see the officials on Valentine's Day,
