oh my god Germany AGAIN. how many times ytou can play with the same team. ECH WCH WL :|
anyway since Argentina is a host country i excpect Poland to be in a finals...

Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
you, that takes a lot of courage.

  • Why do you expect that? The second best team goes along with the first four and Argentina?

because from "our" group 2 teams will qulify(Argentina and best team of the pool) so we basicly have to be better than Cuba and Germany. we beat Germany dozen of times i really can't remeber when was the last time we lost to them and Cuba is very unstable team so they will probably loose some points with Germany and Argentina

  • All groups are quite interesting. Poland will have some South American trip again :whistling: The matches in our group should be attractive. And yes, I am also fed up with Germany  If we play them so often, they will beat us at last  ;)

    The most important 3:
    POLAND-SZCZECIN-VOLLEYBALL

  • I don't understand why nobody is thinking of Cuba and Argentina !
Cuba was better than Russia and Bulgaria in present (group stage) WL.
Argentina won three times against France and twice against Serbia !

  • mateo
Cuba is not so unstable team, they'll fix their mistakes from the last World League. And have you watched Argentina? This team is not cheap any more. In WL2009 I saw game with Cuba. They were very strong in defence. No doubt why they have beaten France to qualify. No mistakes from serves also.

  • As we speak about Cuba and Argentina - Bulgarian NT will prepare in Cuba or Argentina before the first matches, which will be against Brazil

  • Guys, do you know the venues?

In Poland we will play in:

Katowice (Spodek, capacity: 11.000) with Germany

Łódź (Atlas Arena, capacity: 13.000) with Cuba

Wrocław (Centennial Hall, capacity 6500) with Argentina

  • Italy:

    vs.France in Parma(5000 seats) and Modena(6000 seats)
    vs.China in Chieti(3000 seats) and Ancona(6000 seats)
    vs.Serbia in Montecatini(5120 seats) and Firenze(7000 seats)

i don't know why in Italy we have much more bigger arenas(Milan-12.000, Rome-13.500, Pesaro 10.500 etc. etc.) but every summer World League is played in the "normal" ones..

2001: Italian champions beach volley 4x4
2002: Italian League Serie A2 - Italian Cup Serie A2
2004: Italian league's runner up - Cev Cup's runner up
2006: Top Teams Cup - Italian Cup's runner up
2007: Italian league's runner up - Cev Cup's runner up
2008: Champions league's runner up - Italian league's runner up
    2009: Italian League
    2009: Italian Supercup
    2010: Cev Cup's runner up
    2013: Challenge Cup

Even your basketball NT played in PalaRockefeller(5000seats?) vs. Serbia and France in the Eurobasket 2009 qualification phase.Secondly your football NT will play on World Cup 2010 and it will be the main attraction for Italian fans in summer.

PS.I was in Chieti durning Eurobasket2007 for Women :)

No one :) I just came to see one game because I was on holidays in Abruzzo region :) It was Latvia - France, won by Latvia.

Chieti is small but in bigger Verona there was only 2x 2000 in attendance last year when you played vs. China.I guess in Chieti all tickets should be sold.

  • Our player list never gets updated with the real physical data of the players.
Todorov is still with 365 spike and 345 block - 10 cm below his everyday jumping. Not updated from last year.

Sokolov is 356-360 335-340 and is not updated.

Metodi Ananiev spiked regularly over Poltavskiy's block in the game 3:1 for us in the past World League and he is still with 340 spike officially.
