  • Bahrain really scared me at the start of the match, :thumbsup: they had a 7-2 lead in 1st set before giving up ! Iran-Bahrain wasn't that one-sided as the final score might indicate.

    from what I know all of them were Bahraini, in Asian volleyball only Qatar and Lebanon hire foreign players for their national teams. (some of Kazakh players might have Russian roots) they have more than one naturalized player by forging documents. even though they are all crappy :lol:

    I mean Qatar and Lebanon
    I know they had at least 5-6 players, from Cuba, Brazil and African countries but it's hard to find these players background since they changed their names to Arabic names.
    Lebanon had 3 players from Serbia, Poland and Brazil in Asian QT in Dubai.

    Venezuela didnt participate in the last Pan American tournments. For example, they didnt go to Pan American Cup, where they could have played for spot in the WL play off matches.

  • Also here yesterday began 2nd round of Euro Q.

    The tournament hasn't finished yet, but three teams totally overwhelmed the other three such that they've already qualified for the 3rd round. They are the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Belarus.
