2014 NORCECA Pan American Cup - Tijuana / Mexico - 8/11

IMO surprising win for Venezuela in 1st round. Canada came in Tijuana with good squad (Van Lankvelt, Soonias, Verhoeff, DeRocco, Howatson, Balnkenau, Bann etc) but they played horrible match. Pinerua was outstanding, 28 pts in 4 sets, also Cedeno was impressing with 7 killing blocks. On the following day Venezuela lost to Argentina 0:3 but it was good match, especially in 2nd and 3rd set and who knows what would happen if Ven took 2nd set. Level of volley isnt bad at all, worth to watch

- Canada with A/B team with Howatson, Verhoeff, Soonias, Van Lankvelt, De Rocco, Vigrass and Bann
- Puerto Rico and Cuba with A teams, but with some minor changes comparing to WL
- Argentina with B team, but we have Poglajen, Gauna, Imhoff and Demian Gonzalez

Oh, yes, I was waiting for Taylor Crabb: the guy is as good as Taylor Sander IMHO.

U forgot Blankenau (2nd setter in WL), Bann played last year as libero so I would say starting six are A team players tonight Canada vs Argentina should be real battle
