    Bolivar needs one more match to be the Champion. Yesterday they defeated Huracan Chubut Volley by 1-3 (23-25, 25-14, 21-25, 21-25) in the third match of the Final Series. Today is next and maybe last match.

    Pablo Meana: “We must keep being aggressive”



    After the first two matches of the Final Series of the ACLAV Argentine A1 Men Teams League, DirecTV Bolivar libero, made himself a time to make a balance of what happened in such matches and what comes next. "We wanted to win the first two matches at home and we achieved it. We played with aggressiveness and they felt it. We are satisfied. We already took an important step towards winning the Championship" expressed Meana.


    - Are you happy with the output of the team in the first two final matches?
    Sometimes we are too aggressive, so one wins a yellow card but it is better so and not to be without any effort in the field. I am very satisfied with the team output but personally I could have played a little bit better.


    - How did you feel what happened outside the field in these matches?
    The color and party in the tribunes were great, like a final match deserves. People from Chubut made a great effort to come to Bolivar and that was great, with the normal cheering of such an event. We enjoyed it a lot and we hope also to have the same show in Chubut in the next two matches.


    - You recover very quickly after losing the second set
    That is one of the good thing of the team. After not playing very well, in the next one we won it 25-14 and then 25-17. The change felt in the team when we know we are not doing the things right is one of the great weapons we have.


    - How will be the matches in Trelew?
    The matches of next weekend will be very fought, the local fans will put pressure, the stadium will be overcrowded and we also know that people from Bolivar will travel, too. There will be nice matches. We will have to maintain our aggressiveness and not let them play, but that depends on our attitude before stepping into the field.


    - Will you change somehow your team game?
    No, I don´t believe we will, nearly sure we will bet on the floating serve as we know it bothers the reception of our rivals. We performed good in spiking, serving, blocking and even though I do not have the figures I think we had great blocking. In the second set we felt pressure, too much aggressiveness and we had to calm down and think on the next ball. We made too many mistakes and then we realized that we had to be calm and that everything would come out right, as it happened.

    Chubut Volley - DirecTV Bolívar 1-3 (19-25, 29-27, 14-25 y 18:25)


    The match played at Gimnasio Municipal Nº 1 de Trelew showed an overcrowded stadium with fans of both teams. On one side of the net, the local team of Huracan tried to get its first victory in the final series with a team with some injuried players: Pinha, Silva Blanco and Niclas Lopez have different important injuries that do not allow them to performe to their best. Anyhow the team coached by Horacio Dileo won yesterday one set and today another with the record yesterday of winning a set with an 11 point difference (25-14) and on the other set of the net, the team coached by Javier Weber, defending the title obtained last season and wanting to add one more title to their outstanding season. Last year, Bolivar won the Final Series vs. Gigantes del Sur also as visiting team in Neuquen.
