    what is happening with Knack.. they are not as stable as always in Belgian league... i read some injuries to Nikic and Rouzier..


    anybody knows the latest situation there ?? will Rouzier and Nikic play in the Champoions League opener against Mallorca ??

    Rouzier is hospitalised for and appendicitis and won't play for about 3weeks and Nikic is ok again and he will play!

    On Cannes's website , Montpellier's coach Arnaud Josserand made this very hard statement about Rouzier:


    "Antonin is a child ! Not a long time ago, I had Roeselare's coach on the phone, he is very disapointed by Antonin's behaviour. Out of 70 days of preparation before the start of the season, Antonin was there only for 10 ! Antonin his waste. Brassens* said once "without working, talent is only a bad habit ..."     He said that Rouzier became French team NT's opposite "by accident" because of Ruette's and Granvorka's injuries.
    The rest of his answer hasn't a lot to do with Rouzier. (he's recalling the exemple of François Bilodeau in 2005 with Cannes.     You can see them against Sète by clicking on the link "voir le match" (= "watch the game").
    Though Montpellier is strugling , Shafranovich is doing good. He is currently the 4th best receiver of the french league, and is also the 9th best server. I'm not sure that Stein is doing that well on his part. But as a middle blocker he surely has less impact on the game.


    In the interview, Josserand spoke of Shafranovich, saying that he was shy, had some trouble to communicate with his teammate and that his role as a coach was to help him doing it. Since Montpellier has others players like Hudececk to be the boss on the court, it does not really matter if Shafranovich is not really a leader for the team. And his stats are proving that he his doing well.
    I think that he is currently playing even better than last year with Beauvais. This has to be confirmed all over the season (and I hope for him that Montpellier will win some games when they'll face weakier teams) but he his proving day after day that he is one of the best wing-spiker of the championship.
