ps sorry for the italian, I copied it from volleyball.it, if you need any translation just ask ^^

  • Fortunally this year it will start really soon!

I'll record every match they will transmitt (1 or 2 each day, I guess) =) and share it here!

    (or at least I'll try ^^ )

God bless you, good man :obey:

  • Trento and Macerata will be setting up the pace in Serie A1 this year. It will be interesting in the bottom part of the table as well- Latina, Padova, Verona, Vibo Valentia, Ravenna they all look equally weak, imo. San Giustino's team look very good- good coach, good players. They can easily finish in top4.

Modena has become much stronger, in my opinion. Trento, Cuneo, Macerata and Modena are the main candidates for the title!

Modena has a strong roster, I agree, but imo isn't such stronger than the previous season... Anderson is a very good transfert, while Kooy last year was a subs (but he played an excellent play off, that's true!), and about the MB they seems to me quite equal, I don't know... what do you think? :)

of course, good luck Modena for the Challenge Cup!! :cup:

    I would say: promising.
I love Sala. He is a little bit underestimated but I think he is valuable player.
What about Yosifov... I started to like him more after this year's WL.

In my opinion the weakest point for Modena were OH-positions. Last year they had Berezhko, Diaz, Kooy and Casoli. During the regular season Berezhko and Diaz mostly were in starting-six..It was no success...Both left Modena. In play-offs Casoli and Kooy played very well (thanks to Bruninho). Hopefully Esko will take lessons from play-offs. Anderson and Kooy are both very strong hitters, while Casoli is a good receiver.
MB: I think Yosifov has more potential than Creus. Sala might be a little better than Kooistra.

In my opinion Modena has no weak points in current starting-six. (their bench though, is weaker than Trento/Cuneo/Macerata)

I thought that Anderson showed the good side with his receive on WL. He can still learn a lot more. With such couch as Bagnoli is.
And Esko is smart setter. He will lead the team :super:

  • Esko is awesome. Man...I can't look at Serie A benches...I'm dying of jealousy...Italians, you're so lucky!

  • OK, can anyone explain to me how come they lost Sisley as a sponsor, were about to disappear, but still kept the name "Sisley"? Changing the town is also a bit strange if they found a new sponsor, but what I don't get is why they are still named "Sisley" when they don't get any money for that..

  • Sala might be a little better than Kooistra.

I think Kooistra is stronger. Modena is not so strong without Bruno.

  • I think Kooistra is stronger. Modena is not so strong without Bruno.

IMO Esko is better than Bruno.
Good to hear about Kooistra something like that. He will be play in Skra this season so I pleased

  • About Modena, I really like Sala, but imo Yosifov is the "weaker" of this 4 MB (but he is not "weak"!!!!)

I really like Esko too, but I didn't mentioned him because he was in the team also the previous season, and the question was "Is Modena stronger or weaker than last season?" , so I focused on the MBs and the OHs ^^

About Sisley, Benetton is the sponsor for another year (of that I'm almost sure), but (of this part I'm less sure) with the contribute of Belluno (I don't know who exactly), that's why they move to Belluno. I've no idea of what will happen the next season :what:

BTW, Macerata will play in a row vs Cuneo and Trento. :white:

I believe in Sisley especially because this club still has strong players on board :box:
Alessando Fei :obey: I adore him!

  • Gosh. UMBRIA VOLLEY SAN GIUSTINO rocks!
    Facundo Conte + Starović :cheesy:

I am not impressed by Sasa Starovic. Facundo Conte, however is another deal :serve:

  • Last year Sasà was the best scorer of SerieA1

I'm the idea that the numbers aren't all, expecially if not % or ratio with "set played" (if he played 100 set more than another player in the same position that scored 1 point less, of course the second one did better), but at least that's allowed us to assume he did a good job...

However, thinkink about young opposites, I prefer Sokolov. And I'm curious to see Sabbi...

I didn't say he is not good, but I didn't see something spectacular and remembering from him so far, like Conte did in World League. He has time to improve and show his potential
