Germany - DVL Bundesliga 13/14

  • I told you, VfB is slowly getting there :) 3-0 tonight against Berlin.

Yes, good win for Friedrichshafen. Especially winning the first two tight sets will be good for their self confidence.
Obviously Kromm and Carroll not with their best performances. In this case it will be alway difficult for Berlin to win, especially in Friedrichshafen.

  • How could be Duren losing at home against the bottom team of the league? Any link? :white: :sos:

Well, actually, they didnt lose ?(

Surely the most interesting match will be Düren vs Friedrichshafen. This match will give us a first hint, of how strong Düren really is. They are on top of the table, having already beaten Berlin at home. Friedrichshafen had good results and performances in the last two weeks and good win would be clear sign to their competitors.

  • Did someone watch the game of the day? It looks quite an easy win in the stats:

I couldn't watch, had to practice myself. And yes, it looks like Friedrichshafen completely dominated this match. From a neutral point of view, it is a bit disappointing that Düren couldn't deliver a more open match. But ok, you could expect it somehow. There is simply much more individual quality on Friedrichshafen's side.

Most interresting match should be Bühl vs. Haching. Unfortunately there is no transmission  . Düren clearly lost last two matches fo Friedrichshafen and Bühl, so Bühl remains the last unbeaten team.

    semi-finals will be:
VfB Friedrichshafen - TV Ingersoll Bühl
14.12.2013, 19.00 Uhr: Berlin Recycling Volleys - Generali Haching

Unlike the draw for the woman's competition, it seems that DVV made it at least look like a draw.

  • 30.11.13 evivo Düren - CV Mitteldeutschland 3:0 (25:21,25:23,25:12)
    30.11.13 TV Ingersoll Bühl - Generali Haching 0:3 (21:25,27:29,18:25)
    30.11.13 TV Rottenburg - BERLIN RECYCLING Volleys 0:3 (13:25,16:25,14:25)

    01.12.13 VC Dresden - RWE Volleys Bottrop 0:3 (18:25,18:25,18:25)

Haching ended Bühl's winning streak in a very convincing manner.

Some dude over there in volleycountry's blog wrote something about the actual state of the league:

Hello guys, some of you live in Munchen or know how to reach Unterhaching? Please tell me :drink:

I can't actually send you a PM due to some of your restrictions. Anyway. The address is Utzweg 1, Unterhaching. S3 goes to Unterhaching, out there a printout of where the hall is will take you to the exact place in about 5-6 minutes, it's not really complicated. Write back if you need more instructions.

Generali Haching transferred french opposite Marian Moreau. Thats a Very good transfer for them. Now they have an alternative to Simon Hirsch and that makes them even more a contender for the title race. Saying good bye with a title would be both, great and sad in one.

Berlin vs. Dresden was a terrible match. Berlin started without Kromm and Carroll and after first set even changed Kühner for Shoji and Schott for Touzinsky. Dresden, coached by former female NT player Sylvia Roll, was too weak to benefit. They made 24 serve errors in four sets :white: .

On another note, DVL Top-scorer Itamar Stein from Bottrop will leave the club and most probably has already signed with Moers. Nathan French will leave Bottrop as well. It seems they have serious problems there......
