France - Ligue A 2014/2015

  • Despite taking Ligue B title in 2013/2014 season Canteleu Maromme won't participate in Ligue A due financial reasons. Their place might take Narbonne who relegated in previous season.

    Paris Volley - Tours VB 2-3 (24-26, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23, 13-15)

I still haven't found stats or at least best scorers.

L'équipe : Pinheiro 3, Klinkenberg 16, Antonov 5, Konecny 19, Mc Donnell 3, Smith 16, Exiga (libero). Puis Hoag 13, Gardien 5, Bazin.

  • David Konecny outside the group for the away game at Toulouse and Tours dropped the win leading 2-0. Oleg Antonov is a good attacker, but Tours look more fragile with him as an opposite and Klinkenberg/Hoag as OHs. With Konecny back in the group and with Antonov showing decent reception numbers, Tours will be a completely different team. Valentin Bratoev and Jovica Simovski's Ajaccio is the leader after three rounds. But a lot of good teams emerged in the French League recently so it is not even a surprise anymore.

In fact Antonov and Hoag were switching positions during the match. Tours had match in their hands but Rossard entered and changed everything. Gradinarov subbed in 2nd set, poor display.

  • Judging by stats I think Valio Bratoev will learn how to receive in France just like Mika did

This time I have to defend Gradinarov because they use him as an opposite in France. I am not even sure if he ever played on that position before. Still, he did quite OK in the first two games. He played as an OH only for a set against Tours.

  • Another defeat for Tours, already 9th this season...for comparison they lost 9 championship matches in last 2 seasons. Tough time for them, in a few years, as I follow the French league, I've never seen weaker and more desperate Tours. This squad doesnt have "soul" like previous ones. I suppose big, major, changes are coming for them as I'm quite sure they wont defend the title

  • It is a defeat from Prandi and Nikolov, nothing to be ashamed about :)

  • Now Prandi haс adapted, Nikolov has regained shape and they have other good players too, better team than the one in the previous season. Their wins are not accidental.

  • I watched many highlights, actions and short videos of French games in Volleyball-movies. Does anyone know if they are available somewhere? Most of them are not scout videos, so they should be online...

  • So Tours wins Cup final against Beauvais: 3-1 (20-25,25-19, 25-19, 25-18 )

Can anybody point out where to find the stats of this game?

    Thanks
