  • What a ridiculous match :rolll: :rolll:
Ola, I see that I'm not the only person whose heart was conquered by Peter Platenik. Cheesus. He was the biggest badass on the court today. When I saw him clapping his hands I had banana on my mouth but his kneeling posture asking for justice in the world totally cracked me up :rolll: Man, oh man... He's my favourite Czech now

Patryk Czarnowski was my favourite on our side today. Dude, fix your serve only and you'll be the beast

I don't even know what to say. This match smashed me :obey:

Except that I laughed like a crazy I must stay serious. So I hope that our guy will improve their serves and reception 'cause it was just awful

Oh, and good game by Zatorski.

  • What about Kurek, guys? Did he play? How many points has Mozdzonek today? :D

He played in 1st set, but certainly he will be in WC :D

  • High five, girl :D Platenik was the man today :D
Just look at my profile, he literally smashed EVERY competition, no Vlado Nikolov, can you imagine this? No Kadziewicz! Just Platenik :D
    and Zibimir :D

I love such nasty and cheeky players :D Sorry, maybe it's inappropriate, but I can't help it :D

  • No, not Nikolov :S

  • Damn, reading your posts it must have been really funny - and I missed the show :aww:
Ola, don't worry, I forgive you removing Kadziewicz and Nikolov as long as Zibimir is there  and obviously Platenik has totally deserved the honer to be in your profile

Bad reception is a little bit disturbing, indeed. Has Anastazi tried to use Bartman as what he actually is - a reciever and in the same time Jarosz as opposite? It would be interesting.

Czarnowski, Klos, Mozdzonek...too much 'great' serving to watch recently

Zatorski played, not surprisingly at all - I see coach used all players. But are there any breaking news about Ignaczak's ...health :D Does he feel better today? I am worried about him

    Wild Wild West!

  • No worries, they will come back one day, but they will have to handle his majesty Platenik :D

Reception was just terrible today! Even Winiarski made some mistakes! Even Winiarski! :D
No need to say anything about serve, 'cause everyone besides Michał Ruciak (I guess) totally sucked.

Our coach didn't make such move with Bartman and Jarosz on the court today. Kuba played some points, but he substituted Zibi.
But generally there were matches when Kuba was substituting Ruciak on the court to improve block, and at that time he played as OPP while Zibi was moved on reception. I hope I didn't make it confusing. Anyway, Martee mentioned it lots of times as well :)

Igła's butt is ok  I was worried as well, but he really claims that everything is ok, so no need to worry about it now :D

    Yeah, I saw it
I guess we both like naughty boys ;) Damn, from this moment I want Peter in Plusliga. Take him, please, any club, any! :D

    No, not Nikolov :S

Don't worry. I'm sure Ola has Nikolov in her heart. I have him in mne. And partly he's still in her profil -> Zibimir Barnikolov

Do you think that Zibi could do better on reception and make some difference? I don't think so :P Now our best receiver is (or at least should be) Winiarski. But he wasn't so brilliant in this element today ^^ Stats said that the best today (in reception) was Paweł Zatorski so aplause for this guy. I can say some nice words about him. Finally.

As I said - Igła is a tough guy, I don't worry about him 8)

Well, not really, but you know if reception was really so tragic yesterday, why not at least to try? I mean when you are desperate, you are ready to do anything to make some change ^^ But Bartman is much more 'attacker' than 'receiver', that's for sure :D...let's hope that Winiarski is gonna show more impresive performance on this element, because as you say he is the best reciever in your team and we count on him to be stable.

    Wild Wild West!

Misiek is playing better and better so I'm rather calm if it comes to him. I have waited for ages to see him in the beast shape. Let's hope he's on a good way to be back among the best in the world.

I agree - I've been watching the same thing in Skra for some time. Now I am glad to hear that he is doing well in NT,too. He just needs a little bit more steadiness in reception, cause he and Ignaczak will be the base of this element in the team, and with stable reception and a setter like Zagumny we can easily imagine what great attackers like Polish can do  Yeah, I expect Winiarski to explode in WC, it would be awesome to see him in his best shape, cause he's a class:thumbsup:
And what about Kubiak's perfomance yesterday? Did he play at all?

    Wild Wild West!

  • And what about Kubiak's perfomance yesterday? Did he play at all?

Yes, he changed Kurek and played together with Winiarski. After he appeared on the court he did some nice stuff, cunning fox :D I don't remember well but he scored one ace. Then I must left home and when I came back Ruciak was on the court (from what I know he appeared in the beginning of third set) so I guess Andrea looked for better reception. And as we know Kubiaczek is not so stable in this element :P Michał said that he wasn't content with his actual shape so I expect him to explode on WC as well as Winiarski. He'll do everything to explode, I know it, 'cause he's such a fighter.

  • Kubiak is much weaker than in ECH, maybe after his visit in hospital he can't back to good shape, or maybe he doesn't have anything else to show. I'm afraid, that Kubiak is easy to decipher, and whole teams will have easy to block or defend his attacks. On ECH he played great, because nobody knowed him as well as they will know at World Cup. Great guy to replace Winiarski or Kurek, but to first six...

Don't forget that Kubiak is our specialist in hard balls :D I believe in him! And of course that he has a lot more to show, he didn't show everything what he had showed last year playing in Politechnika. Be patient.

No! Kurek handles most hard balls.

I believe in him, of course, I just think, that his performance has... boundaries. Maybe he has something to show, I want to see it, but I don't think, that the opponents will allow him to do this. Don't think, that I'm not his supporter now!

  • No! Kurek handles most hard balls.

I had on my mind that Kubi is a nice technical player, he uses block a lot, he did something from balls from which it can be impossible to do sth. But he's cunning fox and he can manage in tough situations.
I don't even talk about Kurek 'cause this guy carries the whole team on his shoulder ;)

Perhaps we could also pull out the fifth set, as in the fourth, when they blew Ropret and Sket, has led to the 23:22, but at the end are just glorified home. Most of the time points collected Gasparini (14), slightly less Čebulj (11) and ten in Šket and Urnaut.
