  • The exhibition friendly game between Generali Uniterhaching and VfB Friedrichshafen dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Olympic Park in Munich just finished.

Generali Unterhaching - VfB Friedrichshafen 2-3

Haching: Den Boer, Hirsch, Hupka, Snippe, Friedrich, Brunner, Prusener (libero). Subs: Strohbach.
VfB: Zatko, Pampel, Idi, Batista, Denmark, Gunthor, Rosic (libero). Subs: Jovovic.

It was obvious that this was the first game for both teams this summer, a lot of mistakes, especially at the beginning. However, they still showed some nice actions every once in a while. MVP for me was Christian Pampel who is visiting his friends at Bodensee before going back to Doha, he is not registered as a new player for VfB. Max Gunthor also reappeared for his hometown club after several years namely in Unterhaching. Head coach Paduretu along with Skladany, Shumov, Shafranovich and Dunnes were missing for Haching, whereas Moculescu has only eight players available at the moment. Friedrichshafen were missing Jose, Aspiotis, Zass, Harms, Rivera and Spaeth.

  • At the first sight of the name of Pampel in the VfB roster, I thought he had come back to Bundesliga...... What a friendly game! Quite friendly.... :D
