Today started the last of the men's events in the FIVB 2009 Beach Volleyball calendar - the Chinese Open in Sanya. What is interesting about this tournament is the introduction of the new Mikasa beach volleyball! I didn't know there was a new ball created by Mikasa, I just saw some pictures from the country quota pre-qualification tournament. More pictures of the new ball can be found here:
