Friendly NT Matches

  • Yeah...Im not really suprised with this result, I mean Czech Rep is a very good team...they had a bad season last one...but having Havelkova back is very helpfull...of course it is still beginning of season for them too, but I think they can achieve great results...

For Italy, look the roster...I really doubt any of them will be in starting line for Italy later in the year....its a mix of B and C team...so I guess the result is quite natural....

    I agree

For sure czech republic is not a bad team but normally italy could beat them, they r not such strong. And i dont think that this is B or C team of italy.Signorile.diouf,sorokaite,chirichella,merlo,fiorin,de gennaro had played for NT in main competitions if i remember right

Yeah, but on the other hand missing are Piccinini, L.Bosetti, Centoni, Arrighetti, Barazza, Ferretti, Rondon, Rosso, Di Iulio, C.Bosetti, Calloni, Rosso, so it's definitely not Team A

  • Well, It's just a friendly match...just like its name "FRIENDLY". Why do you care about the results this much?

Czech Republic are trying to build a new team based on young players. Their main setter (Vincourova) is only 22 years old and has played only one season as starting setter on NT. Apart from Havelkova and Havlickova, most of them are young and inexperienced. It seems like they will be a very well balanced team in a couple of years under Parisi's coaching works. Michaela Mlejnkova is such a big surprise so far, I hope she gains more experiences.

Italy played a very boring volleyball last year so hopefully they will play a better one this time. I don't like Signorile, De Gennaro and Diouf though. Diouf is a big talent but I'm pretty doubtful if her style fits on the team and with her teammates. As long as Piccinini, Ferretti, Arrighetti are back, Italy shall be much stronger.

Thanks for info. It seems Bulgarian strongest line-up to me. Good match by Dutch girls :super:

  • No Muijlwijk today? :(
It's interesting that NED without some important players beat Bulgaria's strongest roster, but then it's just a friendly match at the very beginning of NT summer and the results now have very little importance...

  • Spain 0-3 Belgium (2nd match)
    16-25, 20-25, 13-25
    Spain: Bedmar (5), Corral (1), Correa (5), González H (4), Collar (8 ), González J (4) (seis inicial) López (líbero) Also: Sánchez (6), Costa (1), Portero (1), Gómez (2)
Belgium: Leys (8 ), Aelbretch (16), Strumilo (3), Rousseaux (10), Van de Vyver (2), Cools (11) (seis inicial) Courtois (líbero) Also: Coolman (0), Gillis (1)

  • No Muijlwijk today? :(

Likely no, since she isn't mentioned in the article at Dutch Federation-website :teach:

I expect Plak and Beliën to be serious contenders for starting-six this summer.

For what I've read Kuzyutkin only arrived to Bulgaria 14/05. So I guess Bulgaria didnt really have the chance to train as a team much.
