Bulgaria had a good coach - Abondanza.. they have good players, but always fail to achieve something bigger, same as Croatia

it's called mentality.

Interesting Generation is coming in Bulgaria- only computers and alcohols in heads

Unfortunately the situation is tragic and results show it. There is no capable young coaches in Bulgaria who can teach and motivate young players. Girls prefer do not invest efforts in a sport. Last year some of our talented players retired from volleyball and become professional models. My friend was very telented player with hughe perspective but because of injury she stops with the volleyball and now works as a waitress and accountant. Some girls are probably every night in the disco clubs and they drink and smoke and at the morning they train. Some of our boys in the summer work on several places while they train because their clubs doesn't gave them any wages. The only goals of bulgarian coaches is to sell some player somewhere to take money from transfer. I'm continuing to wonder how serbians who are with population like our sucseed to produce so many quality sport players and we can't. :wall:

Good result considering Poland played without Tomsia. Does anyone know why she didn't play yesterday and only some short part today?

Belgia: Van de Vyver (3), Herbots (16), Leys (12), Aelbrecht (21), Sobolska (5), Van Hecke (17), Courtois oraz Lemmens, Biebauw (2), Ruysschaert (1), Van Gestel, Rousseaux (3).

Tomsia has played, but not whole match. It looks like she has some helthy issues
I'd like to see Smarzek's statistisct in reception. Kąkolewska is completely different player when she's playing with good setter. She's for sure the best MB in Poland.
Ganszczyk still not convince me :wavy:

Czech Rep. def. Poland 3:2 (18:25, 18:25, 27:25, 25:11, 26:24) in their first match (out of 3).

Poland: Wołosz (6), Kaliszuk (15), Ganszczyk (2), Kąkolewska (19), Grejman (18), Smarzek (4), Durajczyk (L), Sawicka (L) - Jasek (3), Krzos, Twardowska (1), Efimienko (2), Grajber (5), Mucha (7), Pleśnierowicz.

Unfortunately Poland played without Tomsia again, I hope she is OK :rose: With Kaliszuk as OPP it's really miracle we could defeat Belgium and win 2 sets with Czech Rep. :white: Zaroślińska is really missing here, Smarzek could play as OPP but she is OH now so we're out of good OPP first time since 2003 :what:

Other than that Kąkolewska is really deveolping and Polish best MB right now :)

Kąkolewska is playing outstanding, but we have problems with OP indeed when Tomsia has bad day or is injured... both Twardowska and Smarzek are OHs so there's a problem and they decided to use Kaliszuk who played during NT season as OH too, but mediocrely on both positions :aww:

maybe new players like Patrycja Flakus or Ema Bimkiewicz should be invited in the future as OPs... it seems that Zaroślińska decided to leave this team together with Tokarska :(
