  • Germany - Japan 0:3 (19,23,18 )

:super:  do you know the line up of Japan??

Anyone can support a team that is winning - it takes no courage. But to
stand behind a team to defend a team when it is down and really needs
you, that takes a lot of courage.

  • Not yet, so far I know only the result, I hope our federation site will post more information soon.

    Edit: Ok here you go:
Germany: Kathleen Weiss, Maren Brinker, Christiane Fürst, Corina Ssuschke, Margareta Kozuch, Heike Beier and Libera Lenka Dürr

Unfortunately they didn't post the match statistics (yet?).

It scares me that we have only 2 middle blockers who are competitive on international level. Brandt and Kauffeldt from Junior team are certainly talented but not yet on the level of senior volleyball. Anke Borowikow who was supposed to make her debut in these matches suffered a hand injury and will not be able to play in Montreux either. I really think Guidetti should have invited Radzuweit again, although she hasn't made great progress (or maybe none at all, who knows), her experience on international level is very valuable.
