I think Anna Malova deserves some (in fact, a lot) praise. She covers something like 2/3 of the court in reception and delivers high quality, plus her defense is rock solid as usual.

She is a total mess right now. Tomsia needs to come in!
Italian fans always joked her when she was in Novara and Pesaro. She was famous for her love for money and her "brave heart" when the match was a tough one. They called her "miss dinero" (miss money) and "Kasia cuor di leone" (Kasia lion heart). Years gone by and still she's the same player: amazing till the score is under the 20 points in the set. -
I left it 2-0 for Poland! And now almost 2-2 and fourth set 9-21 :O !!!
-
2nd match, 2nd tie-break. The schedule with 2.5 and 3 hours between the starting times looked reasonable, but the teams think different That means TUR-CRO will start 30-45 minutes late as well.
-
I cross my fingers. Kosheleva will get tired eventually, will she? On the other side Shchrban is playing worse and worse. Goncharova still invisible.
-
It is what it is, before London we won w 3:2, why not today? Go girls!
-
And again, both Kosheleva and Skowronska start on pos. 4 for their teams, so again Skowronska will have a hard time against the block...
-
Marichev called a time out after a point with a very long rally and a net ace. I will never understand this man.
-
Looks like Wolosz has some injury, first I thought she looked so unhappy because of being taken out but now I see she gets treated on her foot...
-
Why does Poland try to play like Russia? It's all about Skowronska and obviously she can kill a ball in tie break, while on the other side it's all about Kosheleva.
-
One thing I noticed: for someone her height, Zaryazhko has some artistic moves in defense. The way she dived under that net roller ace And she had some pretty good block covering moves as well...
-
I think Polanska scored more points with left-handed tips than with right-handed spikes...
-
It's a shame Polanska isn't more athletic.

It's a shame Polanska isn't more athletic.
She reminds me of Kathy Radzuweit back in the days....though she sure is better than her.
-
8-6 Russia
Belcik will set all to Kasia, that´s more than obvious. The only thing that could save Poland is Russia destroys itself (bad Startseva sets...), as in the first two sets. Goncharova is a shadow, poor Kosheleva.
-
Kurnikowska is incredible as serving sub In 3rd set she was largely responsible for Polish comeback and now she does it again
Just to end her streak with a mistake
-
Malova is AMAZING
-
I'm glad
CuccariniNawrocki realized Gabriela Wojtowicz served in for the last time when she was 10 years old. -
And it goes down the drain just like in 3rd set again for Poland
-
Iza ! one more time to Kasia!
