Boris Yeltsin Cup 2017

  • A good candidate for worst choices of awards :) Only Mihahlovic deserved her award, rest are like a joke. I also can accept Voronkova's award but giving an award to Zivkovic when you have a setter like Antonijevic is just tragedy

  • Antonijevic is far better than Zivkovic, everyone knows it, they know it and Terzic knows it (hopefully).
Watching Fetisova tonight was really fun, she was on fire, so was Stevanovic. She's a splendid example of being a strong blocker, I mean look at her arms when she blocks, it couldn't be perfecter.

I kind of like this young Russian team, Voronkova seemingly improves game by game. She's oversized but has a good movement and does her job very well. Parubets (Ilchenko, her new name sounds odd) isn't as good as with Babeshina however also does a decent job.
I wonder how they will prepare without Goncharova, Kosheleva and Malova.
