2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

  • Does Japan play mad defense? I assume this match is going to be filled with crazy actions Asian-style

some good defense but Sittirak serves and Ajcharaporn attack were the highlights. It was an offensive set

  • US like a well-oiled machine... i haven't seen US x BRA yet but they are playing really well against CHN right now.

agree. their fast running system is working well.
even with a few out of system passing they still managed to score. a USA team like this is hard to beat!
I am hoping China will be able to improve their blocking and serving, which are currently not giving enough pressure to the opponent.

Ajcharaporn is my muse. I am so happy that she improved a lot compared to these last 2 WGPs. I really hope this young team will be able to make it to Tokyo. Nootsara, Pleumjit, Onuma - are all great players that deserve to be on the Olympics at least once in their lifetime.

I always have mad love for Japan because of Kimura, Takeshita, and Sano. But I don't feel that connection with the new generations. Sure there is Koga and Ishii, but I miss the old Japan. They play made defense, sure, but they also attack with power. These players seems to just hit the ball hoping it will land on court and most of the times they play a messy game.

    agree. Ajcharaporn is explosive

Japan hasn't been fun to watch . even their smackdown of korea was mostly because Korea just sucked

you are going to love this tha v jpn replay

  • Japan plays better against taller and blocking-oriented teams but they are vulnerable against defensive teams.

  • This tournament is a good test for Carol, Roberta, Drussyla, Amanda, and Suelen considering that they are going to be the next face of Brazil. Add Dani Lins, Thaisa, Natalia, and Fe Garay (hopefully), this new wave of Brazilian team is gonna be the one to beat.

Fe Garay said she won't be back.. why does her name continue do be mentioned? We haven't seen Thaisa play for quite a long time, even before her injury she wasn't the player we once was, and considering how good Adenizia, Carol and Bia are I don't think there's enough time for her to catch up. Roberta is doing a very good job, Dani should be only a back up.. So this is actually Brazil's best team more or less

  • Japan is dominating set 3 and but Thailand has only now brought in Nootsara

    Sittirak is frightening
