So after week 2 of 5 there are five teams with 5 to 1 victories occupying the qualification berths now: USA, Serbia, Brazil, Turkey and Netherlands would attend hosts China in Nanjing in finals, if they can hold them. Main contenders are now Russia and South Korea with 4 to 2 victories each so far.

You can forget about South Korea. KYK, Yang Hyo-Jin and Kim Su-Ji will not be playing in week 3 & 5. The defeat to Belgium and Italy might have cost them the chance at making the finals.

the opponents of Turkey are going to be : Belgium,Russia and Serbia next week.
Turkey should intend to beat Belgium and Russia.Guidetti should determine a good tactics for the match against Russia.good serve is very important.this is not Russia's ideal lineup but still they have good offensive players.Voronkova is in a good shape. They have a new setter called Romanova .this could be both an advantage and disadvantage for Russia.
Belgium team is a fighting team.they have young, ambitious player Herbots, and Grobelna.Van Gestel also not bad. They like fighting.you should fight to win against them as well

Maybe some wrong understanding. My opinion will be the same. Let us check the result at WCH.

The final6 in wch will not change much according to the ranking in fivb!

Oh Rats. I know sportdeutschland.tv had some downtime last night, and now the day 3 games of this week have disappeared from their queue. Did anybody actually get to watch them live? So I'll know they exist? JPN v NED and THA v POL are the ones I'm interested in.

in other news,

http://www.scmp.com/sport/hong-kong/arti…am-hit-gym-they

Zhu is back with the national team and is in the roster for HongKong next week.

although I doubt Lang Ping would give her a lot of play time. Maybe a set or so per match.

Guys, please relax and have fun. Let's try to keep the forum peaceful.

Lloyd, please next time you want to joke, pick better words than "porno girls", which can be misunderstood.

About the others: the very same moment he said it was a joke, even though it was a bad one, you can move on.

Thank you.

Match Iqra TV will broadcast two different games and plus all games of Russian NT :obey: According to Pankov's words he thinks Russian NT is improving their game day by day. He does want to fight in F6 but it seems not the main task for now. It is obvious the main task is all about WCH. :whistling: Pankov is not satisfied about OPP players more indeed according to his words.

In the match against China, Boskovic looked pissed off on few occasions that Chinese players had the temerity to block her, and would send a diagonal ball on an unbelievable angle with such speed that you could hardly see the ball flying, and would then roar in satisfaction. It was such an awesome sight! :obey:

this week so far THA vs POL was the most fun and interesting match to watch. I always love THA style of playing. Pornpun did a good job, a better job than her previous matches. Ajcharaporn played much better now. I think Ajcharaporn-Pimpichaya-Chatchuon trio is the new Onuma-Willavan-Malika. Onuma's return is so fun to watch. It feels like she never left.

So what will be the roster for THA next week? Can we expect Onuma to play full time? And will Thatdao be finally there?

she is getting better in controlling her emotion not to let it cloud her judgement. she is very powerful now, but 2-3 years from now, with her skills and much more experienced, she will be one hell of a beast. i am so thankful that i have got to witness the era of Zhu Ting - Boskovic - KYK. put in Tomkom, Eda, Robin, and Castillo -- then you will have my ultimate dream team.

Were you able to watch that one from sportdeutschland.tv? I've been unable to find that match, or the Japan v NED match in HD with english commentary.

okay thanks. It looks like deutschland.tv missed most all of day three matches.

I'm still curious ... any Germans (or others) here who actually watched any of the Day 3 matches live from deutschland.tv? That would give me hope that they may eventually become available on-demand. If they never made it to broadcast, then my hopes are dashed ;(

Do you think their games' being less predictable due to the balls' being distributed more balancedly and fast amongst their players makes the teams like the Usa more advantageous in comparion with the teams like Serbia in which the balls more go to certain players ?

If you mean solely in this competition, it's too early to tell. Coincidentally, those 2 teams hold the first two places after the 6 matches.

However, it's extremelly doubtfull whether even more increased speed of setting will be of any advantage. It's probably just the case of Karch further buckling down and entrench his personal philosophy (perhaps in the face of increasing criticism?).
