Is Obmochaeva divorced?
I saw her name on her shirt writing Goncharova during the match between Dresdner.

Yes. Looks like she is going back to her maiden name. Already using Goncharova in Russian league.
If Stolyarova manages to improve her reception skills, she might be an option for the olympic team.
Uralochka is such a fun team to watch when they're in system, but as soon as they have to play high balls they are quite poor. They don't have a single hitter who can score high balls and good opponents figure out Jack and Zaryazhko sooner or later.
Nice save by Kuzyakina there
Bringing in Safonova was a good decision...
Cool view of the arena and surroundings.
Karpol taking out a smartphone from his pocket and checking on it is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen during a volleyball match

Love him. But afraid he will die someday during a game...
That's my worry in every Uralochka match I watch
10 years ago he said Valentina Ogienko would soon take over as head coach, but it seems he never trusted her enough for that position. Now he's raising his grandson to become his successor apparently...though I'm not sure if Mikhail even ever played volleyball, I just know he was a very talented tennis player until an injury took him out.
Ohh Im shocked to hear that.

Any info about tickets for final four?
Any info about tickets for final four?
Does anyone know where will the tournament actually be held? CEV said no to Cremona (shouldn't they check first if aplying team has the hall to host Final Four?) and according to Italian papers Montichiari said no to making their hall accessible for the training during the FF.

CEV says it will be in Montichiari. In fact I think what Italian papers said it was that Montichiari didn't want to let Pomi train in their hall before the F4.. because as host you have the advantage of playing on your home court, which in this case is not Pomi's. So they will have as many practices as the other visiting teams
Fener studied Chemik so well. Every tip that Abondanza gives to his players, they listen and convert to points..
Fener qualified for the next stage. Chemik build a stronger team than last season but they perform worse IMO

Oh, okay, thanks for claryfing that

I think the 2nd technical time out in the second set is the best example of what you say.

I suppose that was Kim blocking Pena
I suppose that was Kim blocking Pena
Exactly .
During the time out, Abbondanza to kim: "Now you have Pena, don't care about the middle (Veljkovic) because she (Wolosz) like to set to Pena in this rotation".
U-RA-LOCH-KA, U-RA-LOCH-KA!!!
I am really surprised about how well Vasileva is performing in Kazan... She even got her contract extended..
