Yes, the Slovenian National middle was champion in her country with the CEV cup experienced Nova Branik MARIBOR at last, a team, which is competitve against German clubs. This makes three middles for Dresden now...

And Leonie Schwertmann leaves USC Münster because of lack of title winning perspective. That she wants to join a German club with title chances combined with the fact, that Dresden and Stuttgart have already the targeted three middles each, leaves only one logical conclusion: Schwertmann will join Schwerin. And this is very typical, because Schwerin likes to sign German NT players...

They hope to publish the three remaining berths in the team (also a fourth outside hitter is searched for) this very week, if the players they want to hire sign the contracts these days.

Me too - it is not likely, that Vilsbiburg wins any title the season coming.

SC Potsdam stalwart Libero/Captain Lisa Rühl has announced she is pregnant with her first child, and is retiring from Volleyball after 7 years with the club ;(

In the announcement the 2nd Libero from last season, 18 year old high school student Sophie Dreblow was talked of as the new main Libero for next season, so I would guess they don't intend to make a big signing for the position.

Femke back to Stuttgart...I don't understand it, unless she will be a starter.

I agree with you, for Daalderop this seems too early...Mjenkova and Sandor are much better. At Nika's age, she should play as a starter every week to develop..

Femke will definitely be starter this time. About Daalderop; if Sandor continues to play like last season Nika definitely has a chance to take over her position in starting six.

Interesting changes in the league of some Dutch players - of course, Femke Stoltenborg will be first setter this time before young domestic player Pia Kästner, two years ago she had bad luck, that Valerie Nichol was preferred by coaching staff all the time, she certainly didn't expected this.

Han Abbing another year in Suhl.

Britt Bongaerts to Ladies in Black, Tessa Polder another season in Aachen.

Somehow Stuttgart looks a bit weaker than last season, especially the bench.

One "final" (or nearly) word about Stuttgarts roster for next season: it is planned, that Julia Wenzel will get double license for 1. and 2. Bundesliga like the past season and can be occasionally with the team, especially in European CEV cup, so only the Libero position is vacant. No league team is more eager to hire a real good player for this than Stuttgart, by the way - even regarding payment, this is more valued than by most other teams in league, therefore our chances for a really good player there are always good.

Regarding Nika Dalderoop from Netherlands: she is very young, but Michaela Mlejnková was too, when she joined Stuttgart, so let us see, how she develops. I hope, that coaching staff will give more opportunities for not first six players overall in this new season, because them being tired was in the end one of the major reasons, why Stuttgart couldn't put up a final fight against Schwerin at the playoffs. And Renata Sandor had bad luck, because due to injury and career end of Kim Renkema she had to play far too often in her first season after the horrible knee injury before.

I don't think so, and remember, that last season the bench was nearly not used at all (at most the middles had more changes, but also limited).

Funny "reunion" outside of Germanys league: long-time outside hitter Louisane "Louisi" Ziegler-Souza leaves Schwerin and goes to Romanian top A1 team CSM Targoviste (3rd in last championship, good league by the way, at least the best four teams are really good), she will do under new head coach Guillermo Hernandez, who left Stuttgart and preferred them before obviously weaker Spanish team Logrono (despite it would have been in his country).
