but it took 9 years to organize the 2nd edition in Tunisia and since than it became a regular competition which the five strong nations wait for
Kenya comes first with 6 cups followed by Egypt and Tunisia 3 cups each and Seychelle 1 cup and algeria 1 cup in the last edition 2009 in Blida, Algeria
The 2011 Women's African Nations Championship KENYA 2011:
this year's edition will be in Nairobi, Kenya from 17 to 24 August. The competition will be qualifying to the 2011 FIVB World Cup.
Algeria the defending championsand the host Kenya are always favourites to win the cup.
