  • The semifinals in Asian Champ. will be livestreamed by bet365.com, with start in less one hour for the first game.

Its a good opportunity to watch the supertalent from Japan, 20 year old Mari Horikawa. A collegeplayer and captain for New Zealand volleyball team, Whitewood, said this about Horikawa last year:

"Mari Horikawa — who was ranked as the top spiker in the world for her age group and was eventually named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player — was one of the best players she’d ever seen she said."

“Every time she went up to hit you couldn’t help but watch, like, in full amazement,” Whitewood said. “She was just awesome. In the finals, I remember watching her like ‘Wow, this is the reason why I want to continue playing volleyball. I want to be just like her.’ She was that good.”

I have never seen her, will be exciting.

  • :aww: i didnt expect that Toray Arrows are so popular in Thailand, all live audiences are crying and screaming for their team and making noise to Tianjin Bridgestone to disturb our players...and the umpire made at least two fatal judgement mistakes which were really bad influence to Chinese team. apart from those, it is a good game so far. :box:

Tianjin Bridgestone vs Toray Arrows 1-1 (21-25, 25-18 ) at the moment...very balanced game indeed..
i am interested in watching such a bloody perfect fight... :win:

  • Champion Final

    Tianjin Bridgestone (CHN) vs Toray Arrows (JPN) 3-2 (21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 17-25, 18-16)
what an close and exciting game all through the final...

During the 3rd set, Tianjin was led by Toray with 12-5 for a time, but they never gave up to catch up in the end of the set and won back.
the tiebreaker was also fierce and hot, the last block helped Tianjin to survive the whole match...
coz there are 2 main setters Wei Qiuyue and Mi Yang training with China National Team, the third setter Yao Di performed so perfectly all through the game and she acted her role very maturely and made her team cool...

for the opponent, Toray Arrows has some talented young players, Takada Arisa (oh), Futami Azusa(mb) were the two most impressive players in Japan, although the new super star Horikawa Mari was not sent into the court...

Congratulations to Tianjin Bridgestone (CHN) qualified for WWCC in Doha later this year.

i may not be the tallest,
    the fastest, or the strongest,
but at least i can do one thing better than anyone else,
