LVSF starts january 15!
There are once again 8 teams. Pinkin de Corozal and Orientales de Humacao won't play because they miss money. Pinkin de Corozal was inactive already in 2014 (with Vaqueras de Bayamon). Orientales de Humacao won't play for the first time (but it's still sad considering the franchise exists since 2012, when Gigantes de Carolina moved to Humacao, and played just in 2013 and 2014). Vaqueras de Bayamon moved to Naranjito and now we have Changas de Naranjito. Considering the first signs for refuerzos (foreigners), this is gonna be the best LVSF ever.
Changas de Naranjito ( Kristy Jaeckel - OH + Taylor Simpson - OH)
Criollas de Caguas ( Jessica Jones - MB + Dana Cranston - OH)
Gigantes de Carolina ( Rachael Kidder - OH + Alaina Bergsma - OP)
Indias de Mayaguez ( McKenzie Adams - OH + Lauren Cook - S)
Lancheras de Catano ( Olena Ustymenko OH/OP)
Leonas de Ponce ( Chaniel Nelson - OP + Emily Brown - OH/OP)Mets de Guaynabo
Valencianas de Juncos ( Elizabeth McMahon - OP + Lilla Frederick - OH)
IMHO:
-Indias de Mayaguez are the favourite team for the title
-Criollas de Caguas are the closest one to Mayaguez and could be the dark horse once Karina Ocasio joined the team
-Leonas de Ponce should be in play-offs and, if their foreigners will have a good impact, they may be in finals again
-Valencianas de Juncos and Gigantes de Carolina will play for the last sport in semifinals
-Lancheras de Catano may be a huge surprise with a second foreign player
-Changas de Naranjito have really young team with few strong players, no chaches for play-offs
