China U19: Jiangsu style - short MBs and tall WSs, oh my god ...
-
MIyu Nakagawa(Hisamitsu,NT menber) is captain.
Ayaka Araki(MB,184cm) is a relative of Erika Araki. -
I watched (most of) the Japan v Thailand match. Not real exciting in the middle of the VNL. I can't find the Japan v China match on youtube.
MIyu Nakagawa looks pretty good. She's tall (for Japanese--183cm lol) and seems mature for her age. Good swing and appears interested in defense. Ayaka Araki looks gigantic. I didn't notice her much which suggests she didn't do much of interest.
#7 Haruna Yamashita played with a lot of hustle. High scorer. Only 171cm, though.

After seeing the match of China U19 against Thailand U19 by 2 to 3, I wrote these:
OP - Xu Lu-yao [No.1] as a non-receiving OP, is not good. If she is regard as "younger Wang Yi-mei", sorry, her jump height is not good. It is said that she is injured. Huang Xiao-yan [No.11] doesn't play one match in the tournament.
OH - Three OHs, Che Wen-han, Liu Yu and Sun Run-jing [No.2, No.3 and No.4] are all with precarious reception. Their spike speed is low and unlike young Shi Hai-rong, the head coach and the former main OH of Chinese men's NT.
MB - Only one high MB, Jiao Dian [No.5], from Bayi but is not like Yuan Xin-yue. Other two, Yong Le [No.6, 1.82m] and Liang Wei-fan [No.8, 1.86m], are only common.
S - Sun Yan [No.11, 1.89m] needs to study Shen Jing-si. She is too slow. Chen Fang-lin [No.12, 1.80m] didn't set the ball to MBs well.
L - Ni Fei-fan [No.13] was an OP. Therefore, her reception is not as good as her defence. Chen Rui-lan [No.14] doesn't play one match in the tournament. -
Agree with you Tomen, the game is very slow
-
Xu Lu-yao is a receiving OP during the quarterfinal against South Korea! China U19 3-0 South Korea
-
China v Japan for the Final tonight/tomorrow!
-
Japan is the winner with seven 3-0. China U19 is just much weaker than Japan U19 now.
