Internacional Volleyball Cup in Brazil 2011

    Next week Brazil is making a friendly tournament that will count with 4 teams: Brazil, Italy, Japan and Peru. The tournament will happen in Nilson Nelson gym in Brasilia. The matches will be broadcast by sportv.

    Brazil will play with the team from Panamerican Cup plus probably the most experience ones from Yeltsin cup. I think maybe also Zé can give a chance for the girls that are showing up more in Yeltsin Cup like Priscila Daroit. we will see.

    I enjoy this team, I think we have a very strong national team, but I don't understand beacuse Barbolini doesn't call together Nadia Centoni as opposite, she could be a very important player for our national team..! :roll:

    I agree. If Barbolini gave as much chance to Centoni as he gave to Ortolani, Italy would be more succesful.

    There's an explanation: they didn't want to make Japan and Peru play later (cause, in their logic, their "final match" would be Brazil x Italy) and they wouldn't make them play at 8 in the morning. That's sort of an explanation, I still feel as much as you that this is kinda ridiculous.

    First set to Japan 25-21. Japan is playing as always. Gioli plays as opposite and she was blocked few times, but finished few attacks too.
