Tour showed that Wild Card for Dominican was mistake as Everyone knew that before tournament only because of Their President so at least FIVB gave award to show that- Yes, only because of Mambru We gave the Wild Card. You see We did good She is one of the best OP in the World and stat shows that.

I got so angry. If FIVB took results for Awards from Best Scorer stats, Queen Sokolova would get Award for Best OP. She came back special and comes back without nothing.

I think Zé was really focused in the final match. He hit the spot calling Camila in to replace Fabi. Brait was one of the greatest players with several great digs.
For the first game specifically, the key game, he was great. The middles sub (Adenízia/Gattaz) and, of course, when he took Fabíola/Sheilla off to the 5-1 and subbed Claudinha/Monique in. They came in 17-13 Japan and left 20-19 Brazil. Good call!
Nice to see Walewska and Gattaz back! And Brazil earned 250,000 bucks. Not bad in these days. It could mean, no way second-class anymore.

All-Star team awards was unfair as usual. No Brazilian and American players. How their athletes could beat everybody with substandard play?
At least, we have to admit FIVB has sense of humour. Sakoda for best OH. lol

I, for one, wouldn't name Fabiana for MVP, but she totally deserves by her life's work. Outstanding player since age championships. With Thaisa, Brazil has the best middles duo in the world. Simple the best!

I liked Japan a lot and there's room for improvement in the new system. Sakoda was amazing as I always guess she is. Ishii will fight hard for a position in the line-up next year.
The line referees were honest with the opponents. Big respect! There were some calls in the end of the first game that, if we were playing in another place in the world, maybe the home team would get it and the result of the match could have changed.
