    Turkey 13 points, max 16 points, win in 3 or 4 sets against Italy and they are in. If they win in 5, they would have 6 match wins, which is first tiebreaker all others except Italy can only reach 5. Would tie with Italy on wins (if Italy wins 6-6) at 15 points, would they go to sets ratio which Italy would win. Would finish higher than Japan and South Korea due to match wins (5-4) at 13 points.
    Serbia 13 points, max 16 points, win in 3 or 4 sets against South Korea and they are in. Would lose wins tie breaker with Turkey (5-4 now) and Italy (5-4 now) if they are tied on points, would lose sets ratio win Germany on 15 points
    Russia 13 points, max 16 points, Need Turkey or Serbia loss. Lose wins tie breaker with Italy (5-4 now) if tied at 15 points. Would lose sets ratio tiebreaker with Germany, Serbia and USA if tied on 15 points with them.
    Italy 12 points, max 15 points, beat Turkey in 3 or 4 sets and they are in and Russia or Serbia to go 5 . 5 set win could get them in at 14 points, but need additional things to happen
    Germany 12 points, max 15 points, beat Russia in 3 or 4 sets and Turkey or Serbia loss. 5 set win could get them in, but need Turkey and Serbia loses. Would have win tie breaker on Russia (5-4)
    USA 12 points, max 15 points, beat Dominican Republic in 3 or 4 sets, loses by Turkey, Serbia and Russia, cannot beat Turkey set ratio at 15 points, would beat Serbia (tied wins and sets ratio) on points ratio at 15 points if USA wins in 3 sets, would beat Russia on sets ratio at 15 points. Cannot beat Italy (wins 5-4 now) and Germany (sets ratio) at 15 points
    Japan Already qualified as host
    South Korea eliminated

    Agree that belgium seems just depends on van hecke but if she can handle it its ok.The result is more important and for now belgium leads 2-1 .Go belgium :super:


    I think they must disturb holland more with serves,normally holland cant compete with such strong serve teams :whistle:

    Van Hecke is used far way too often without no doubts, fortunately she has already got 28 points for her team ^^

    She has now 54 after 3 sets.

    Perfect belgium lost the set from 23-20 :gone: hope lisa still has some energy for 5th set otherwise it would be so easy for dutch side

    Btw its not like belgium uses her when crucial points but almsot everytime first ball goes to her although setter can use other players easily, :wacko:

    Anyway, Belgium is a mess. Too bad they don't have quality subs to cover the reception (Vandesteene is terrible). I wonder if Van Hecke will keep playing well and score more than KIm's 42 points,
