  • Only Italy plays with not even the B team? :white:

  • And for Croatian...Karla Klarić got injury and Ana Grbac can't play in 1.round ...Marija Prša joined last week with NT so that means that She isn't ready :S...And We have only 1 MB ;(
    ;( ;(

  • my evaluation on the teams' rosters :

Azerbaijan : good offense, reception looks shaky, middle are not strong

Romania : i think the weakest team in Baku

Bulgaria : good OH's, good middles, Nikoleva's shape question mark

Belgium : this time Ilka Van de Vyver is the setter, i wonder how she will perform as first setter, you know without Dricxx s,she can feel some pressure on her fingers. moreover Wittock in the team..

Poland : Poland is in Baku with its best roster possible. im not sure how the opposites of Werblinska will perform and liberos reception are also important. the middles are not superb but ok..Poland looks good..the best roster they have for a long time, i can expect better from them now

Croatia : Croatia with a young/unknow team in Baku..except Grbac,Fabris and Senna..i dont expect much from this squad

Russia : Russia almost with the same roster as in MOntreaux in Baku..

Germany : they are with the best options in Baku except the middles..none of the experienced middles is with the team
and this might mean an offence mainly going on over the wings..

Italy : they are with a similar team to the one in Montreaux in Baku.this time no Egonu and no Malinov

Serbia : the middles and OHs are good but the setters are question mark.i wonder about Bjelica and Drpa's performance

Netherlands : i expect a good game from them as in Montreaux..wait and see what they will do in Baku!

Turkey : the roster is good except Gözde Sonsırma,Eda and Neslihan .maybe Gizem Örge could be in Baku for her reception.i hope Meliha can play better this time

my canditaes for the gold : Netherlands,Poland,Turkey ..plus Serbia and maybe Germany

other than that : Bulgaria,Azerbaijan and Belgium can play well

  • Teams that will fight for gold medal are(my opinion) : Bulgaria, Turkey, Belgium, Serbia

  • Holland will win IMO  And Italy will hardly win, well, just a prediction.

Poland with good members but I don't think they will make some big success in this tournament. I just am imagining the typical polish games, playing good until 20 and then being screwed by silly reception error or infinite errors, same opinion goes to Germany. I hope both teams can prove I'm wrong though.

The weakest point of each team is,

Holland - Reception. No one can pass except Grothues. Wondering if Pietersen will pass, she has proved that she's a better receiver than Buijs and Plak.
Germany - Attack. Both Brinker and Kozuch ain't reliable attackers. But if there's a jackpot going on in the match, they will destroy every opponent. Just like playing Iniminimanimo, I'd say.
Italy - Lack of experience. However I'm excited to see the great Raffa Calloni.
Poland - Inconsistency. But this team is worth to watch for their beauty.
Serbia - Attack. I wish they had at least one actual good attacker. Mihajlovic will be used quite much, if Drpa has a bad day. Bjelica is not good enough.
Belgium - Setter, although I like Ilka Van de Vijver better than Dirickx.
Bulgaria - Setter. Kitipova is terrible.
Croatia - Injury, I guess. No one over there seems to be ready to play. Who will play MB aside Susic?
Russia - Reception and setter. But seeing Bavykina-Isaeva would be interesting, they are hard hitters. Their libero may be added to weakness too. She's so bad.

  • can i infer from this post that Turkey has no weak points? also there is another country the host called Azerbaijan :gone: plus Romania

  • Holland will win IMO  And Italy will hardly win, well, just a prediction.

Croatia - Injury, I guess. No one over there seems to be ready to play. Who will play MB aside Susic?

Only Fabris is ready and new libero Nikolina ....Second MB is Maja Burazer

  • federvolley announced different squad thant this with Camera instead of Orro

  • can i infer from this post that Turkey has no weak points? also there is another country the host called Azerbaijan :gone:

I dont know at all about Azeri volleyball, maybe apart from Rahimova.

  • Marija Prša can't perform in 1.round..that means that Angelo only can count at 9 girls...So many problems for Croatia NT :S :wall:

  • Nicole Oude Luttikhuis from Dutch team is playing as OH

  • I hope for live stream..Serbia-Croatia
