    Fenerbahce Acibadem runs to semi final


    FenerbahceAcibadem and Galatasaray shared their trump cards in TVF 50.Yil Sports Hall for the second game of Teledunya Turkiye Cup quarter final. Acibadem beats Galatasaray 3-1 and runs to semi final against Eczacibasi Zentiva.This was a premier for FB Acibadem, opponent took them down at the begining 0-4,and then this was kept on so long. After fist gap was passed 2-8, young spiker Dilara Bilge scored 2 points contributed Ivana Djerisilo; FB Acibadem coach Jan de Brandt exhausted his two time outs at 3-11, the earliest in this season. Ekaterina Gamova was a big threat for any team, now its her time, scored serial points from second tech time out 7-16 to 11-16. By reflecting the real capacity, host decreased the difference 14-17, nevertheless Galatasaray prepared well enough to save the game until 19-23, however FBA came back with 5 direct points 24-23. Ivana Djerisilo was the last one to talk, finished the set via strong services 24-26.


    As soon as sides were changed, roles changed too, home team was leading 8-3 in second set. Every team in the World has a deficiency, Fenerbahce’s is errors in reception whenever Cigdem or Seda on number 1, guest Galatasaray used this very good and caught up the opponent in second gap 15-16. Even though yellow-reds were ahead 20-22, host managed to turn the destiny, showed how tough they were 25-22.


    Fenerbahce Acibadem had eliminated Galatasaray and moved to semi final, so that match had been meaningless for both, home team had no trouble snatching third set 25-14 quickly.


    Fenerbahce Acibadem seized the fourth set 25-20 and won the match 3-1. Yellow angels will face to Eczacibasi Zentiva in semi final.

    Nilufer Belediyesi 0 Vakifbank GSTT 3
    (17-25, 18-25, 16-25)


    Eczacibasi Zentiva 0 Fenerbahce Acibadem 3
    (24-26, 24-26, 21-25)


    It's almost impossible Eczacibasi and Nilufer to beat Fenerbahce and Vakifbank and winning four sets in the second games. So it's not very hard to guess Fenerbahce and Vakifbank will meet to win the title in the final game. But i must say that Fenerbahce has big trouble in receptions and it seems that this is not a kind of problem they might solve before F4 in Cannes. So i wonder how far we could make it against though teams like Cannes and Bergamo with such an awfull receiving performance.


    Eczacibasi had a chance to win first two sets.Eczaci had 4-5 points advance in 1&2 sets.Gülden played amazing :drink: and Nihan was awful yesterday :thumbdown: .Why Alle doesnt invite Gülden to NT? I cant understand really.Nihan bring only mistakes to Turkish NT.

    To my understanding and what I heard around the problem between Ale and Gulden is not only about her playing style. I guess Ale has problems with Gulden's character on and off the pitch.

    That's what I heard as well. The problem is personal between Ale and Gulden Kayalar and it is a two-sided problem. Neither wants each other. But yeah definitely Gulden is way better than Nihan Yeldan or Gizem Guresen or any other Turkish libero for that matter. She is one of the best liberos of Europe, that's for sure. Her absence from the NT is a huge loss that will never be compensated.

    FenerbahceAcibadem defeats Besiktas although lose one set in Aroma Women’s 1st League derby match 3-1. So that, FB Acibadem stays unbeaten.Guest Besiktas was the faster one at the begining, used the services on Cigdem; Fenerbahce attacked over Gamova but she made 3 mistakes until local coach Brandt called a time out 1-4. Even Besiktas led the first tech time out 6-8, host easily picked up and put the pressure approaching to second gap 16-11. Natasa Osmokrovic was the bright player of this set, contributed her team to fly until 20-13, but Besiktas took a breath and closed the difference 20-17. This was the last power of them, home team moved ahead once again and notched the set 25-19.


    Although Besiktas lost the first set, learnt the weak points of opponent, used this more than first set and led the critical moments 5-8 and 10-16. Guest team was increasing the tempo especially on services, forced FB Acibadem have errors, gap was raised up to 10 points 12-22, Fenerbahce got the worst score in this season at the end 14-25.


    Besiktas got the rhythm, seemed like never leave playing hard, had a perfect start to third set 0-3, nevertheless FBA had a greater capacity, so caught up the rival 8-7. Now it was time for Katya Gamova, she spiked excellent, also supported by Osmokrovic and scoreboard showed 19-13. Home team impressed so much in the last part of the set, seized it 25-15 easily.


    While first tech time out was being passed 8-1, everyone at hall thought this was the regular score for this game, since remaning stage would not be changed, Fenerbahce Acibadem finished the set 25-12, match over 3-1.

    How will the play-off be played in turkey? and which teams will be out? Istanbul and Eczacıbaşı have the same point for the moment, is it important for them place second? And is it possible for Bankasi to pass Besiktas?

    1st-8th, 2nd-7th, 3rd-6th, 4th-5th... is going to play at the quarter-final
    to be the second is impotant because in the semi final the 2nd team will have the home team advantage . now Vakıfbank Güneşsigorta is the 2nd.
    İller Bankası can't pass Beşiktaş ...

    Teledunya Turkiye Cup semi final return match, Fenerbahce Acibadem hosted Eczacibasi Zentiva at TVF 50.Yil Sports. FB Acibadem crushed the rival 3-0 and moved to final.


    Guest Eczacibasi set a pace to 2-6 against Champions League runner up until Belgian trainer called a time out, then FB Acibadem stood up and caught up at 8-8. Home team was used to play in high tempo as they came from Giants Arena, changed the level and arrived to second break 16-13. Eczacibasi Zentiva could not resist this suffer anymore, set over 25-19.


    FB Acibadem had been the opponent of VGSTT in final, remaning part would only be formality. Hence, Jan de Brandt replaced setter Dirickx and spiker Osmokrovic with Naz and Alice Blom. These substitutions did not deceletare the host, by leading the critical moments 8-3, 16-7 and 21-7, FB Acibadem finished this set 25-9.


    Teams did not leave each other alone till its 15-15, but losing against Fenerbahce was almost become a destiny, yellow dark blues increased the gap once again to 20-17, never gave a chance to bounce back for Eczacibasi, closed the stage at 25-22, match ended 3-0. Thus, name of the final is recorded as Vakifbank Gunes Sigorta-Fenerbahce Acibadem.
