  • The final match:
    2011.12.30-DinamoM-DinamoK.mkv

This is just over 2GB file, so it is split here into multipart .rar files. (Download all parts and unrar to get the original file.)
    Part 1: http://www.multiupload.com/7MQN29NHPS
    Part 2: http://www.multiupload.com/OVPP6WT3QS
    Part 3: http://www.multiupload.com/5V518NAUV3
    Part 4: http://www.multiupload.com/9PO3MAMAAR
    Part 5: http://www.multiupload.com/GM6YGMEGCM

Most hosts used to limit the file sizes enough that this kind of .rar split was needed. However now there are some that should allow the entire file. If I can get any of them to work, I will post a link here.

  • Thanks for posting final, the it was an interesting match to watch.

I haven't watched many Russian league matches, but I noticed some very interesting things: -

    1) Gamova is an attacking machine!! She single-handedly kept Kazan in this match, a shame she got burned out in the end and made a few crucial errors. It will be very interesting to watch her against the likes of Brazil and USA. She seems so motivated as well.

    2) A lot of the people in this match play together in the Russian national team, but I was surprised at Goncharova and Gamova. They were really shouting at each other in this match across the net. Surprisingly as well the referees didn't seem to mind? Is this normal in the Russian league? Everyone, except the likes of Larson and Kurihara, was shouting across the net. I thought the rule was that you celebrate your point away form the net! It made it more interesting though. It certainly kept Gamova fired up!

    3) Dinamo Moscow's setter is accurate, but seems very inexperienced. She sets the same all the time, and in the end, it was a nightmare for Goncharova, as she always had either a triple or double block! I dont understand why they virtually dont play backcourt attack option at all - especially with Grun now playing. Maybe because Grun joined recently, hopefully their game will improve in that respect. Kazan's game do they struggle with?

Anyway, interested in your thoughts people!

p.s Happy new year from London!

  • Yaneva best scorer?

  • Im not surprised at all that Goncharova and Gamova yelled at each other, they are not best friends at all. When I saw the Russian NT play in Italy, they hardly never talked to each other in warm-up, time outs etc. and on the court, except when Gamova was angry and yelled something in Goncharovas face, and she looked back at Gamova like she was crazy....

  • Standings
    1. Dinamo Krasnodar 22
    2. Uralochka Yekaterinburg 22
    3. Dinamo Kazan 19
    4. Proton Balakovo 16
    5. Dinamo Moscow 16
    6. Omichka Omsk 15
    7. Severstal Cherepovets 13
    8. Fakel Novy Urengoy 12
    9. Tyumen TyumGU 10
    10. Zarechie Odintsovo 8
    11. Avtodor-Metar Chelabinsk 6
    12. Samorodok Khabarovsk 3

  • I checked the statistics of Dinamo Krasnodar vs. Samorodok Khabarovsk and was shocked that Tatiana Kosheleva attached 47 out of the total 82 attacks of the team and the other attackers hit the ball for less than ten time only. Fateeva attacked only seven and Gansore attached six times only. What a huge difference. There is something wrong with the coach here.
