Russia - Superliga 2011/2012

  • 8| Kosheleva 2 and Gamova 3?

  • The coach for Russian NT in WCH 2010, Vladimir Kuzyutkin ranks in a interview the three most important players of the Russian NT. His ranking:

    1. Sokolova
    2. Kosheleva
    3. Gamova

I personally think it's kind of excuse for Russian NT bad performance at Europeans. He says - look we didn't have 2 most important players... I don't think anyone can really compare these playres, all 3 are very important without Gamova the result will not be archieved either.

  • Live stream will be avaliable for Omichka vs Kazan at least, even if I think the stream quality will be bad... and hopefully also at the match between Uralochka and Krasnodar. These two matches are really important for the final stage in Russian League, for the four semifinal spots. Both Omichka and Krasnodar needs to win the matches today to have a good chance for the playoff.

Omichka was actually the last team that took a set from Dinamo Kazan (!) in the league, when they won away with 3x1.

  • Kazans streak with 11 straight wins with 3x0 ended now, when Omichka took 1.set.

    Final result: Omichka - Dinamo Kazan 2x3 (25-23 25-21 20-25 23-25 9-15)

I didnt saw the match the last sets since the broadcast wasnt so good, but impressive turnaround from Kazan after very shaky start with much errors and weak reception.

Novyi Uregonoy, with both Gioli and Del Core, shape is much better now than in the early season and they took a easy victory once more. Both Alisheva and Gamova had big matches yesterday with 27p and 23p respectivily. Jana Scherban was impressing for Saratov with 25p and 51 % in attack against Chelyabinsk. Krasnodar lost against Uralochka with terrible reciption from especially Neriman, and even if they outblocked Uralochka 14-10, it was far from enough.

Yes, Alisheva was really impressive against Kazan, so maybe you're right about her. Krasnodar is playing so badly now that probably won't be a contender for top4, Omichka and Proton will argue it out.

Hooray! Akinradewo will come back early to train with National Team then :-)

))) There will be games for 5-8 places anyway, so she'll be home just a few days earlier, not too significant)

  • Anton Uralochka won yesterday not lost like You wrote in the results.
If You write Uralochka's results You must be very carefull because one mistake and.. today You are happy tomorrow Your head is in My hands.

Are after the main round Quarter-Finals or Semis?

Hehe sorry, corrected now, after the main round its Semifinals !

  • 18th day.
    Samorodok Khabarovsk - Dinamo Kazan - 3:1 (25-16,12-25,25-18,25-21)

  • What is going on with kazan?

Last match they barely managed to win 3-2 and now a 3-1 loss. :white:

Last match vs. Omsk, normal result, they lost home 1x3 and now won in Sibiria 3x2, over a strong team. This loss against Samorodok was a tank, nothing else. I dont know for sure, but heard Kazan played with their reserves and rested main team for CL.
