Interview with Evgenjia Estes: http://www.championat.com/voll…davlennom-nastroenii.html
She says she wants to play for Russia in olympics, and she has a big desire to win her first olympic gold since she has "only" ECH-titles so far in NT in her carrer. She also says the Krasnodar failure wasnt unexpekted, since she think they did a huge misstake to kick out Ovechnikov as coach.
It would be her 6th Olympics, that must be a record. But I'm not sure if she'd be more helpful than Makhno for NT now...if everyone stays healthy Sokolova-Kosheleva-Gamova should be main players, Goncharova definitely there as substitute and then the choice will be between Makhno and Estes...could also be both. Either way if she goes to London I hope she can help the team more than 4 years ago, back then I thought it was a mistake to put her in first 6 instead of Godina.
